Hawaii Honolulu Acura $10K markup. Said they can’t justify selling it for less than the $15K marked up Type Rs here. Fun.

Makes me wonder if Tiger Eye Pearl is bringing the price down since it's harder to move. I like it, but it's definitely divisive from what I've seen.

Acura of Honolulu still charges markups for regular ass Integras last I checked, the sheer audacity.

DHC Acura in Tustin CA offered MSRP + $2200 in accessories (alarm system + paint & fabric protection) on a TEP they have. Call Jeff Ostergaard 949-302-9222 if interested. Other colors still have ADM.

St Louis Acura (aka Mungenast) = MSRP dealer

I just wanted to reiterate / confirm what’s already been said above regarding St Louis Acura – in my experience purchasing my Type S there was no funny business or ADM. While the car was in transit they asked me what options I wanted, I sent them the list, and that’s what I’m going to get, nothing more.

Just picked up mine from Bay Shore Acura in NY. Freddie is the man to see.

No markup, no dealer accessories, no stress.

Yeah I got mine from Bayshore Also...Hopefullly you read my post and took a magnifying glass with you for pickup...their no markup was spot on...But dealer prep SUCKS....Also if you got a temp tag to "travel out of NY" its good for only 30 days...I dont know about PA..but my state is about 45-60 days behind issuing tags....Hey enjoy your ITS...pics?

Thanks bud! I didn't ask them to prep it because I'm getting it PPF'd and ceramic coated this morning. However, I did have to wait awhile for them to fix the side skirt, the driver said had a HUGE gap and the clip was showing.

My point exactly about Bayshore... the side skirt should have been caught and fixed prior to your arrival...Prep to me is also proper inspection of the vehicle prior to customer pickup...Rant over...Enjoy that Baby Beast...

If you have low expectations you'll never be disappointed.

I maintain I lucked out with my car; I have absolutely zero complaints with it, and I did fail to ask them not to prep the car. Fortunately, they seem to have done a very good job. I couldn't find any issues at all, and I even will have them detail the interior when I take it in for service tomorrow because I love the smell of the shampoo they use.

Thinking about it, I've bought a ton of new cars from a variety of makes, and only really had an issue with one of them- a Porsche. My 718 was delivered with all sorts of holograms in the paint, particularly around the rear decklid. I'm not a concours guy so it wasn't enough to really bother me but it did kind of lead me to believe that you're pretty much left with the luck of the draw on how a car arrives from the factory. I just don't think most dealer prep processes take into account glaring issues from the factory. It makes sense from a business perspective to only take action on something if a customer complains about it...

TL;DR, it really is on you as a consumer to thoroughly inspect a car before taking delivery. Expecting them to proactively deal with things like paint imperfections or panel gaps is a mistake.
