Loud clunking from front suspension

Drove it a couple days ago and it was fine. Started it up today and it makes a loud clunking/mechanical popping from the front end.

Any known failures like this could be the source? Car handles fine and a spot check behind the wheel looked ok.

Apparently this guy had a similar issue. I also know of one other person with front suspension noise. I wonder if they’ll come out with a TSB now that the issue is starting to pop up.

Oof. Hope I don't have that issue.. running CTR front springs so not sure what they would do about warranty

Ah man. My instinct is telling me sway bar based on the way it feels. I'd look into more myself but I'd rather just use the warranty. Going to dealer on Monday.

Looks like my assumption was right. Dealer called back saying the sway-bar end links were loose.

edit: spoke with the tech when I picked it up and he said it was so loose on one side he could turn it by hand

Thanks for posting that. In my forum experience, too many people say they have an issue, but never say how it was resolved.

I thought I heard a clunk on the passenger side today but it turns out it was just the seatbelt. It was twisted so there was a little slack, and the buckle was rapping against the b-pillar. Nothing wrong under the hood. reading these threads just make me paranoid!

I’m thankful for this post also. I have around 500 miles on my integra and have felt the clunking described twice. The first time, at around 200 miles on a fairly smooth highway, I thought maybe the front lip spoiler might have come loose and was dragging or something. Stinks because I’m about a 90 mile round trip from my dealer and was just out there this past weekend to check my rear defroster because it didn’t seem to be working and should have asked about the suspension and of course it happens for the second time on the way home so now I have to make another trip. But, I’m also very thankful for posts like this that tell the resolution!

Lol. Well I won't have that issue with mine.. already had the front end links off when I replaced the springs.. so nice and torqued now.
