omg. That looks great. I have the same color too
just curious what is the stock offset?
what kind of drop is that. Looks good.

+45 offset is perfect IMO. Brings the wheels out to the edges without fear of rubbing, even with a drop. Titan7 or Apex is a good place to start looking.

Stock offset is +60.

+45 moves the wheel out 15mm. Same specs as stock otherwise, 19x9.5

Drop is Eibach Pro kit. The blue Type S above is Eibach Sportline (slightly lower) Either will work. H&R, Swift, Eibach all have good spring options.

Offsets in the +37 to +45 range look the best In my opinion.

I think the answer depends on your priorities. and what "better fitment" means to you, but I have a suggestion. Before you make a decision, do some reading about the dual axis suspension and the function of wheel offset in its operation.

This is good advice.

The stock wheels are 9.5in wide and have a 60mm offset. This ensures that the center of the wheel is aligned with the steering axis, which reduces torque steer. Given an identical wheel width, a smaller offset will move the center of the wheel away from the steering axis towards the outside of the car. This will increase torque steer, but many prefer the aesthetics of a wheel face that is either flush with the fenders or slightly protruding (as opposed to the inset arrangement that the DE5 has stock). The extent to which a rather small change in offset (like 15mm, as in the case of a 45mm offset wheel) is noticeable is debatable. Some here claim they don't notice it, others say it's very noticeable.

It should be noted that you can also combine a more aggressive offset with a wider wheel to reduce the impact on the change in position re: wheel center vs steering axis (for example, Apex sells 18/19 x 10.5 et 47), but you won't be able to eliminate the shift entirely (as the inside of the wheel would have to be moved inward to the extent it makes contact with suspension components).

Honda's article on the suspension design is available here:

I'll chime in once again that whatever difference in steering feel/torque steer for shifting offset by 15mm is easily negated by the aesthetics.

Which is to say it's noticeable, but barely. Not enough to classify as "adverse" in pretty much any objective scenario. It's not something I think about every time I drive the car. Rarely, if ever.

But looking at the car is something I do every time I drive it.

Also when you lower the car you're going to change some of the characteristics of the suspension. The rear will have more negative camber than the front, which isn't necessarily a good thing on a front-wheel drive car. This was something I did notice, but only during actual performance driving, e.g., autocross.

I recommend considering some sort of camber adjustment, either to bring the rear camber closer to factory with rear camber arms or add negative camber to the front to match/exceed the rear, wither with adjustable lower ball joints or if you do coilovers, make sure you get adjustable strut-tower mounts. None are 100% necessary but definitely worth considering. (an alignment is 100% necessary after lowering a car, primarily to dial in toe so you don't prematurely shred your tires)

19 x 9.5 + 45 Apex VS-5RS, Eibach Pro-Kit.

Titan-7's 9.5" wheels with the +45 offset are a great balance of improving the look of the car and not straying too far from the factory steering geometry. We've ran several sets on our cars and have always been happy with them.

The 19x9.5+45 is a great overall fitment for the track guys. On the FK8 we used to do +35/+38.
