For those with the red interior, have you noticed anything with respect to it getting dirty quickly, showing dirt quicker than black would, etc.? Just thinking of general maintenance and longevity if there would be much of a difference after a couple years how the red looks compared to black?

Itā€™s not bad at all. I treat all of the leatherette throughout the interior with a quality leather cleaner and moisturizer and treat the ultra suede with Sonax foaming cleaner. Plus, there is a strict ā€˜no food in my carā€™ rule :)

Itā€™s good. Donā€™t be scared of it. Sure any color different then black may show more dirt quicker. But that isnā€™t a reason not to get it. Love my red

My red/black interior stays looking clean so much better & longer than any of my black interiors which were in so many vehicles.

Iā€™ve got white with an 8 year old and a 3 year old and I havenā€™t had much trouble. I just hit it with leather cleaner fairly often and have my 3 year old take her shoes off to ride. She just canā€™t help kicking the seat in front of her.

I'm also impressed with how the Orchid has held up. The black suede on the driver's / passenger's seats helps (I imagine the white suede on the non Type-S models would be a nightmare), but overall the vinyl seems to stay pretty clean.

I'm hoping others can show if their Orchid has held up, because I'd love a red exterior and orchid interior

Mine looks like new (picked up late last June), and I've never cleaned or treated it... granted, I don't have kids, and I keep my car interiors neat.

I'm typically not a white interior person, but it was the only option w. the blue exterior at the time of preorder. I have no regrets.

Thanks for all the feedback. Went and test drove the demo tonight and wow, what a nice car. I really like the red interior - the pictures make it look so ā€œtomato-ishā€ but in person itā€™s sharp as hell.

After 50+ years of black, blue, burgundy, tan, gray and white interiors, I have my first car with red seats. I had concerns too, but I really like it. Even with an occasional dog riding along, seven months in it still looks showroom new.

I use the Gtechniq leather protector. No color bleed and no leather wear 7 months in
