On my morning commute I noticed a horrible squeaking noise that was coming from somewhere around me, and then realized that it was most likely a rock in between the rotor and the dust shield since my dad had the same thing happen with his M2 and the squeaking sound from that instance and my car were the same. I pulled off to a gas station to so that I could try and get the rock out of the place it was stuck in but since the type s has 265's in the front I couldn't really get any leverage to bend back the dust shield and get the rock out. I ended up getting it out by turning the wheels full lock in both direction and it magically fell out which was nice. My only concern is the damage that it did to the rotor since the noice it made while it was grinding was pretty bad sounding, and I drove the car like this for around 2-3 miles. I'm not sure if that would be enough damage to need to replace the rotor as I don't think my dad replaced his rotor after he stopped the rock from grinding his rotor, but I also don't know how long my dad drove his car with a rock grinding his rotor. I'm probably just over worrying since it is a new car but I'd rather over worry than not care/ask at all
