I'd stick with one tune and run Ktuner w/ Phearable 1.5R tune. ( This is what I ran with but had the 6spd transmission).
Oh my bad; thought you had the cvt ASpec at that time.

I have never tuned before; is that Pherable 1.5 tune a si for stage or are there maps within the tune? I hear folks saying they switch maps on the fly but unsure if they are going to a different ā€˜tuneā€™ or switching to like a ā€˜sub-tuneā€™ within a turn, if you catch my drift lol

Maps within the tune. Hold the cruise cancel button and the current map is displayed based on RPM. Map 1-3. Each map changes the max boost level.

Now thatā€™s intuitive! Nice that itā€™s right there on the steering wheel instead of having to use the tuner device itself.
When you say each map is displayed via RPM, what do you mean by that? Trying to picture in my head

You can toggle between maps with the steering wheel controls.

Whatā€™s the indicator of the current map or the map youā€™re about to switch through? Does it cycle through them circularly and displayed on the ktuner device or youā€™re saying itā€™s displayed in the instrument cluster?

Without the tuner connected when you start your car it defaults to Map1. From there you can change through the steering wheel controls. Feedback is given through the tachometer when changing Maps.

Oh snap thatā€™s fly!

when does the car go back to displaying true idle RPM; After a set amount of time or do you need to blip the throttle once in a map to ā€˜selectā€™ it?

and sounds like you donā€™t need the ktuner hooked up at all times to utilize the tune and itā€™s maps therein? Iā€™d still want it hooked up 24/7 while driving to be able to read my boost and trans temp. Not sure why Honda decided to omit them in the integra but my 10th gen civic had them lol

You hold the cancel button and it displays current map then up down to select and hold cancel again to exit and save.

I had mine tuned for almost 20k miles before I sold it
are these piggy back chips something worth looking at? it seems too good to be true to get 60 hp from a 100$ chip, and if itā€™s not why isnā€™t this as popular as tuning as it has similar hp gains for a 3rd of the price almost, or is tuning just that much more better?

šŸ¤£It's one of those OBD2 connectors with an LED on it.

Does anyone keep their ktuner attached to the car? Purchased the kbuddy mount, with the intention of mounting the ktuner permanently. However, Im running into the issue that I have to unplug/replug the unit practically on every start up. Not a huge issue, but a little inconvenient. Also worrying long-term about wearing out the connecting usb-port on the ktuner itself.

If anyone has had this issue and figured out a resolution, some advice would be appreciated.
