Adding stickers to my car show piece - waiting on Axion & Hondata/Flashpro stickers coming next. Anyone else have something they are bringing to car shows or any fellow skaters in the house? 😄 Although I'm pushing 40 & barely have any time for it anymore minus rolling around with my son while he's on his bike. 🤣

Man I never could skate but damn that board makes me want to learn! I was always in rollerblades. Going to cars and coffee with the wife and kids this weekend. Haven’t been in 6 years, never felt same to go in an electric car..

@Krazydan19 Lol I bet it felt different for sure! I was doing the blades thing until I picked up skateboarding. Then I quit essentially due to working all the time & getting heavily into the fitness world. Got burnt out on that & went back to the self defense world. Now it's basically mid life crisis time since I bought this car, some skateboards, & corduroys. 🤣😂 This board will be for car shows only though with no grip tape.

@bpebler. Mid life crisis, you don’t say🤪. Right there with ya bud! Hell yesterday took my ride to “find gas” in the middle of the day. Then that evening told my son we were taking the 3, Then he asked why and I said well trying to not just pile miles on the car he asked why(with a confused face)? lots of words of me trying to explain and yep so we took the integra lol.

😂 I'm always looking for an excuse to drive it, too. Usually midday also to get away from my home/desk job that is still new & incredibly boring & stressful to me compared to what I'm used to. I find myself beginning to explain similar things to our older boy & end up doing the same thing - "nevermind, just get in the car." 😎

Installed the alcantara center console from Overland Designs. Took me about two hours because I'm an idiot when it comes to these things but looking back it's straightforward if not a bit tedious due to the clips and screws.

Do I regret it? Absolutely not! Goodbye, piano black!

looks Absolutely stunning. Take good care of it and don’t let it become this:

Haha, yea this is what I'm afraid of for my steering wheel. When it gets to this point I'll swap my perforated steering wheel back. I'm hoping the center console will last since i hardly make contact with it. My kids however...

just do 6 month maintenance on your Alcantara, damp microfiber cloth with detergent or baby shampoo will do. Rub off all the accumulated dirt and oil, then grab a used toothbrush to do light scrubbing and brush up the micro fibers on the alcantara. Will be just like new and should remain that way for years.

I do it monthly on the ITS, takes like 30 minutes

if you want to take it a step further get it treated with fabric protection, saw this on a group post. Don’t know what he used but I got Gtechniq Smart Fabric 2L to also repel liquids

Awesome tips! Much appreciated. I'll definitely do this.

Looks great man! I have to send my piano black trim to be reupholstered by them since they ran out of the ones that you buy straight up.

Btw, what tools did you use to take the trim out? Tbh, I get scared when it comes to trim removal since I never messed with them ever! Oil changes, installing aftermarket parts, any mechanical repair I’m good at, but I become a total idiot when it comes to interior trim. I'm too scared to break tabs/clips or even break the trim itself! Lol. Any tips on installing/removing the trim would be nice.

I used a Phillips screwdriver, a 15mm wrench and a small prying tool.

TBH I am not a handy person AT ALL so when I tackled this I made sure to do it as carefully as possible and to take my time. In total it took me two hours (LMAO) but looking back I think 30mins is sufficient depending on your skill level. However, its very important to take your time to avoid breaking any plastic tabs.

But worry not, I'm preparing a very short (2 minute+) video showing you the steps from removing the console to disassembling it. I'm hoping to get it ready by tomorrow so that it can help other ham-fisted individuals such as myself.

Pull like quickly or slowly? Either way, pulling it quickly or slowly may snap the tabs/clips, so I need the right way to do it. My apologies since that’s the idiot part of me talking. Lol…

As long as I don’t break anything, I don’t mind doing it for two hours as well. I have a feeling it might take me take a longer time to do it than you. Hahaha.

I’m definitely looking forward to that video.

Thanks for all the help btw!
