What the heck is this part?

Just got my new 2023 Integra, and underneath the front passenger seat I found this part. It's hard rubber and soft rubber around the edges, looks like a trim piece of some sort. With the rubber, I thought maybe it was designed to keep water out from somewhere. Anyways, my dealer doesn't know what it is, I'm worried they will just throw it away. I am convinced it belongs somewhere. Any ideas? I got it with 2 miles on it - doubt it came from outside the car.

Looks like a cover for the end of the seat rail to me. Location fits, too.

I thought so too, but there are no other seat rail covers. Now I need to go check an integra on the lot to see if any of the others have this

If I remember tomorrow I'll poke around under my seats if it's above freezing outside.

i was thinking maybe an extra cut-off piece of weather stripping, maybe? may have fallen under there during installation in the factory.
