Yep. I agree.I see this thread, I start considering modding my car.
I see this video, I forget that shit and start saving for a dedicated track car.
Having said that, it should be noted:
This individual was running a brand new tune for the first time, in 105+ degree ambient temps, without (as far as I am aware, having watched his other videos) any cooling upgrades;
The failure appears to be a result of a failed AN fitting (coolant) on his RV6 660 turbo (leading to spiking turbo temps and a seized wastegate).
It's entirely possible that, had the AN connection not failed, this would not have happened.
It's also probably not a good idea to test your new tune on the track, in 105+ temps, without cooling mods.
