Only to locals is a crock of shit..jmho....
Well, it is an it isn't. The issue which has arisen in the past is that some non-local bought a vehicle at MSRP with no intent to keep it and the flipped it for even more money. Granted, even a local could do that, but it's likely an attempt to mitigate that potential while ensuring desirable vehicles are available locally at MSRP where they're more likely to gain a longer term customer.

@Godofelru In the case of Bobby Rahal, they had a list ~20 deep for the ITS the last I checked, so plenty of local interest.

DCH Montclair Acura has a blue type s that has damage it was hit in there parking lot they are calling it a launch addition because there but all associates on it and they want makrip on top
Are you sure it is a blue one that has damage to it? Just FYI, their actual launch edition in white was damaged as well when a staff member left it in neutral on an inclined ramp and it rolled down and hit another car. Surprised they have TWO lot-damaged Type-S' lmao.

When I talked with DCH Acura, they told the white demo was damaged "coming off the delivery truck" and its the only one they would sale for MSRP...The truth is some where in the middle...

Haha, somewhere in the middle indeed! The story I was told was pretty specific, so I'd imagine it may be pretty close to the truth. There is a ramp that leads to the big double-doors that is at the back of their showroom (used to bring cars in and out of the showroom floor); story goes that the white launch edition was "parked" on the ramp an employee without putting on the e-brake, it rolled down, and sustained damage when coming into contact with another car parked in the lot.

Hey guys and gals. Just a quick PSA for anyone still in the market. My local dealership, who was originally firm at $6k over MSRP on their two Integra Type S (TEP and MBP) in their showroom, just decided yesterday that they will accept MSRP plus a “pro pack” for $995, plus the obvious tax/tag/title. The pack includes Type S OEM all weather mats and cargo tray, wheel locks, and the OEM gloss black splash guards. Their doc fee sucks at $899, but it’s definitely not the worst out there. They still have their black on black sitting on the showroom floor. The Tiger Eye was sold.

If interested, please PM me and I will get you my contact’s information at the dealership.

Best of luck to all who are still looking.

A few more to add to the dealer thread and adjust/change them.

Butler Acura in Oregon. These guys were 8K+ over MSRP. They completely treated prospective customers like idiots. One of their sales guys acted threatingly over email, cautioning me on asking too many questions… like why they were marking up dealer accessories by 300%, on top of the huge ADM.

Carter Acura in Lynnwood Washington. These guys are supposed to be an MSRP dealership, but I was just given an opportunity to purchase one yesterday. Adding $1000+ markup to the $400 Acura protection package AND forcing you to buy a partial clear bra for nearly $3,000. Mind you, the vehicle isn’t even on the dealer lot yet. Sales guy is trying to compare the vehicle with the NSX. These guys should no longer be flagged as an MSRP dealer in WA. Happy to provide proof to the mods.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting really tired of all of this nonsense.
