You have Continental DWS 06+ right?Got the winters on just in time. First snow in Chicago. 255/35/19 on oem![]()
No, I have pirelli sottozero winter. They are, or were, on closeout on tire rack for 160 each. You have Continental DWS 06+ right?
Got it. Let me look prior threads for your comments about vibration / rubbing. No, I have pirelli sottozero winter. They are, or were, on closeout on tire rack for 160 each.
They won't ship wheel locks. Just lug nuts and centering rings. If you want wheel locks, you'll have to order them from somewhere else... Just so you know!Yeah I got mine coming from Wheelsco as well. Hoping they ship this week.
Replying to myself:Put the winters on yesterday. Wheels sit at the same spot as OE. Handling is quite affected with 18x8 (+40) wheels and 235 tires. Will have to be careful driving with those...
Fine by me. I despise wheel locks. Always the first thing to go. My car goes from home garage to parking garage mostly so not really worried about wheels getting stolen. But good to know. They won't ship wheel locks. Just lug nuts and centering rings. If you want wheel locks, you'll have to order them from somewhere else... Just so you know!
Looks good! My setup will be similar. I’m getting the P Zero 265/35/19 this Friday. Stock black rim for winter and bronze for summer.Got the winters on just in time. First snow in Chicago. 255/35/19 on oem![]()
Easy info to find searching on Google. 19x9.5 +60.what is the offset on our OEM wheels? i'm trying to figure out what i need to get, and i'm not sure what target offset i should be shooting for
Yes it will work.I was trying to follow the thread from the beginning but its 16+ pages long now...
I just want to confirm before I pull the trigger on a wheel/tire bundle i created that a 19×9.5 wheel with +45mm offset and a 265/30 tire will work without any fitment issues
i was trying to use willtheyfit.com lol but i didnt know the oem offset. the wheel stuff has always terribly confused me. so if i get a higher + offset, i need to maybe reduce the wheel width to compensate?Easy info to find searching on Google. 19x9.5 +60.
For my winter setup, I used 18x8 +40 and the exterior of the wheels sit at the exact same spot as OE. You have to be careful to think not just about the offset, but also the wheel width. There are some great calculator online (some will even show you a drawing of the two wheels you compared).
