Hi,

I am chasing a rattle noise from the side belt panel on the driver side.

For some reason I cannot remove the main push pin that holds the top panel.
I tried to grab the panel from both sides (wrapping my hands around the panel) and pull, no luck.
I tried to insert a strong plastic tool from a side and kinda push against it, no luck.
At some point I broke a white plastic part of the pin, but that piece doesn't do anything.
I purchased a new push pin since I expected that I might brake it.

Did anyone remove that pin and can guide me how to remove it properly? I am sure there is smarter way than more power. If I push too hard I might break the panel that hangs on that pin.

It’s meant to be broken there’s no way to take it out “safely” you hammer it until the white clip breaks the black portion
