Can I see ? I have The stock and Alcantara at the moment but been thinking of maybe adding a Carbon Steering wheel . I do love the quick change setups but don’t know if I want to loose my airbag for one . The zestek looks amazing . So maybe a carbon wheel I see in the future .

Anyone find a matte carbon fiber trim piece that goes around the steering wheel controls?

Maybe I’m just too old-school, but carbon fiber in the interior looks about as classy as showing up to a black-tie event in sweatpants. Sure, it’s the real deal, but if I wanted something that screamed “try-hard,” I’d just wear neon leg warmers! I’d be way more impressed if that carbon fiber was hanging out in the engine, doing the heavy lifting—literally—where weight reduction actually matters, like a gym for your car rather than a fashion show!

Scratched piano black plastic looks much better, though, right? 😂😂😂

(Never mind that it's plastic, not a legitimate paint clearcoat, making it the equivalent of fake CF, lol.)

Believe me, there's a VIP lounge in hell reserved for those decision-makers who thought slapping on glossy plastic was a good idea—clearly, they missed the memo about 'no shiny surfaces in purgatory'!

As an FYI the FL5 steering wheel trim is a direct replacement and not gloss black.

Old-school , Carbon was huge back in the old days. I think Carbon is awesome for weight reduction and looks. Allot of high end vehicles use tons of carbon all over. I think it's just personal preference . I only wish my entire type s was carbon.

I put on the Revesol wheel and it’s perfect. IMO the carbon fiber wheels look really tacky and cheap. I’d never be willing to drive without the airbag.

This looks great, is it any thicker than OEM? can you get one with heated steering wheel function?

No heated steering wheel option. I live in the northeast and with a garage, never really found it necessary. Definitely thicker than the stock one and much less slippery material than the stock leather.

I put the red stitch Canadian heated wheel on my car and sold the stock wheel to a member here.
