H&R springs
APEX EC-7RS 18x9.5 +35
275/35 Conti ExtremeSport 02

These pics were taken right after I installed the drop springs. I’m hoping the H&R’s settle a bit more or I may be swapping to the Eibach pro kit after looking thru this thread😅

I agree, that looks really good. The wheel profile makes it look larger than most 18" wheels. Any springs will settle a bit for ride comfort if that's what you mean. The HR's are supposed to be closest to stock comfort but the Pro kit certainlyisnt far behind it and drops slightly lower, but that's all preference.

The HR's have been riding fine and comfy. But yeah i was referring to how it looks. I would prefer to close the fender gap just a tad bit more. Hoping these HR's after some use might just settle a bit lower and do it for me haha.

Adding pics with the 275 x 30 Continentals, fills out the stance a bit more, little more sidewall.

Still happy with the 275/30 setup? I just ordered some 19x9.5 +51 wheels with 265/30 DWS06+, but thinking of switching to 275/30 just for that little bit extra meat on the tire. Plus it's less expensive.

I'd like to believe i can keep this car stock height, but pictures like these make me question my resolve.

My 275/30r19 DWS have held up pretty well. I have hit numerous pot holes and debris without issue, knock on wood. Traction is adequate though I would still like a dedicated summer set of wheels .

Thanks for the feedback. Did you ditch your stock wheel/tire setup? I’m just going to alternate with those until they wear out and decide then if I want to run seasonal setups.

I still have stock tires stored for now. Running the DWS on the stock wheels.

Yes, very happy with the stance and such. The 265's are a hair stretched to begin with, this fits the car much better! I will not go back to 265's. I also think that 275's are the right size for a 9.5 inch rim anyway. If you're not going to drop the car, I would get 275/35's. Say screw the speedometer and get what's going to make the car look great. I'm honestly wondering if I could fit 275/35's with the +45 offset, and the drop.

However, that being said, I would at least get H&R or eibach pro kit, the car just looks so amazing with the drop.

Awesome - thanks. Both routes are tempting! I do love the lowered look, but found on my last fun car that I really appreciated the suspension travel of stock height (the car is still lowered on Bilstein coilovers however). What suspension mods are you running in the pics above? Edit: nvm, I saw in another post that you have the Eibach pro kit.

A 275/35 setup would be pretty beefy, giving an extra .66" of sidewall and the added rim protection of the wider tire. It is 5% taller but does seem like there's plenty of room for it at stock height and the mild offset of +51 on the new wheels. They're even the same price as the 275/30's... that might be a good option.

Switched my Tire Rack order to 275/30, picked up a little sidewall and rim protection, and saved $100. The rep mentioned that it was listed as an "approved size" for the ITS, for whatever that is worth. New wheels are on order and should arrive the 2nd week of October.

I seriously considered the 275/35 and found notorious9i6's thread with some examples of that fitment, but being new to the car I didn't want to immediately start messing with the gearing so drastically. I'm more inclined to go with a mild lowering spring in the future and would probably have been fine either way, but playing it a little conservative.

FWIW Neighbor has a set of brush clear's on his white M340i - looks really clean on white cars.
Yea, looked at so many images ok the site. Think it’s what I’m gonna do, I’m sure they will show all the brake dust but cleaned wheels always fun right 🤪.
