I'd say it's about the same. it might be a hair heavier, but honestly, it feels about stock for weight.
I don't need a heavy knob...Just the ball style feels better in my hand. Using a replica Mugen style now but wanna swap to the FK8..even thought about the FL5 teardrop style.

I contempleted the Mugen style. I ultimately wanted something OEM. I also prefer the ball type shift knobs. My favorite one was the Abrams M1 that TWM performance used to make, but they don't appear to be in business anymore. It was weighted, gunmetal, without the gear engravings. it was a beautiful knob... I ended up giving it to a buddy, when i sold one of my last manual transmission cars, thinking i likely wouldn't be in another honda manual again. and here we are LOL

I love my countersunk knob from my old S2000 but it's too heavy for the Integra shifter and since it's countersunk....sits too low compared to the S2K so it just sits in my garage. I'll probably just do the FK8 and see how I like it.

I too liked the look of the ball style, but also wanted it to not sit too low and have room for my pinky finger, so I got it custom made from WC Lathe a la ND Miata style.
