    paint looks pretty good!
  2. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Love it all! I'm putting in the shifter this week as well. Any tidbits to watch out for when installing? Any tips on setup?
  3. did my first oil change (and what i learned in the process)

I bet it will be fine. Just did my first oil change at home as well, and I put in 5 and 1/4 qts, then started checking. (this includes pre-fill on the filter) Ended up around 5.7 total, but my car was on a slight tilt back when up on jackstands, so maybe I just had a more complete drain?
  4. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

hey, just wanted to throw in a comment on the aFE Takeda intake. Love the look, happy with throttle response, etc. Downside, threw a P0410 code and this intake may be to blame. Did a quick google search and found a thread on the civic forums documenting the same problem, within a few hundred...
  5. Jester’s Tuning thread

TLDR: Jestertuned is the man!! Hey gang, hate to keep heaping the praise on jestertuned, but I just want you all to be aware of what this man will do for you. Just as I arrived at the track for Tech check, (the night before the two day event,) I got a P0410 code, and lost the crackles and...
  6. ITS at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), 1st event

Hey gang, was back at VIR this week. Met @RamVA and he even rode with me for a session to give me some coaching. Always love that! He's a super nice guy and we had a blast. Ended up significantly improving my Grand Course time by the end of the day. Also had the pleasure of some help from...
  7. VIR on Monday

Ram, you are the best buddy. Really appreciated you taking some time with me. Picked up some great pointers and definitely made progress the next day on brake pressure, etc. Had a big pickup on grand course from last trip 3:32 down to 3:16. Heck, the 3:16 was faster than my best Grand...

Tasty! Congrats. I think I would pass on the ambient lighting. I wouldn't want to risk messing anything up in the interior. Although, I rarely drive at night so I wouldn't get to enjoy better ambient lighting anyway. Would be cool if we had more options though.
  9. PRL Rear Motor Mount Testing vs OEM

Yes, kind of. My car definitely vibrates a bit more at start up and at idle, but I don't even really think about it now. With the tune, I'm glad I got it. Tires definitely hook up better in first and second. I was on the fence about it, but happy now.
  10. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Where did you buy the shift knob? I went on Two STep Performance's website, and it says thin knob does not fit our cars. Is it direct bolt on? No other mods needed?
  11. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

One thing to note, it was very helpful to have a set of JIS screwdrivers as I had no issue with removing the screws holding on the MAF sensor. (some have reported stripping the screw heads) Also, I was glad that I had a set of torx ratchets as the screws holding on the jet purge thingy were...
  12. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

That is the difference, this is more like the stock airbox, just with the cone filter exposed. Assuming there's no shortage of air, the inlet pipe, post filter side, is probably the same size as oem or other intakes, so not sure from a functional perspective if the extra air inlet in the PRL...
  13. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Installed the aFE intake from Takeda. Took a few months to get. Very happy with fitment, no issues at all within installation, and adds a little more visual interest in the engine bay. Definitely feel an improvement in throttle response, very noticeable. Inside the cabin, the noise is not a big...

I would get the Continental, DWS06 or Michelin Pilot Sport all season.

I live in NC, so I can get away with summer tires. I've definitely driven on them in 30 degree weather, although I take it very easy. I've even been on track in low 30 degree weather with them. I would not want to drive them all winter in the DMV area though, and definitely not in snow. In...
  17. VIR on Monday

I appreciate the response very much. I've definitely seen some of the faster/higher grip cars completely avoiding gators in the esses. Cars like GT3's, ZL1's, Corvette's and the like. Heck one of my instructors has a Miata and he doesn't touch them either, but he has 100TW tires and major...
  18. VIR on Monday

I've always completely eaten the gator on the first right of the esses. I mean eat it like car over the dirt as I'm about to touch it. If possible that is. I also coast a bit to bring down the speed before the jump. Just can't bring myself to hit the jump at 120. In the Stinger it was...
  19. Grinding/Abrasive Noise while foot off Gas pedal

wow! Have to think about this. I'll have to get the rotors off first though right?
