I like the OEM shift knob and it works well with the Hybrid Racing shifter. I’m thinking about the Mugen black weighted shift knob with alcantara & red stitch just to change it up once in a while.Out of curiosity, what is your opinion on the stock shift knob with the HR shifter?
I’m pretty excited for these seats. I initially was having them made for my 23 MK8 GTi 40th anniversary, but when I saw how mediocre the stock seats were in the Type-S, I decided to switch it up.Love the seat idea. can't wait to see how they turn out.

They’re sending me some leather samples this week and once I choose my materials, production should begin fairly quickly.![]()

Those seats will look great! Keep us updated a things progress.Putting the Type-S away for the winter 🫤, but I’m starting to stockpile parts for winter projects.
Picked up the PRL HVI intake system from Two-Step Performance with their Black Friday sale. Going to finish the blacked-out look with the gloss black Type-S badges.
Lastly, I’m working with a company in the UK to custom make me some Recaro CS seats. Going to design them as an OEM+ look with some red leather, black alcantara and red stitching. They’ll retain the OEM heated functionality but lose the electronic adjustability.
