Ambient Lighting Custom Install

I have a 2023 aspec and I wanted to swap out the lights in there for custom ones. They look great but, I can't figure out how to wire them to the doors. Does anyone know about this or tried something like this? The lights I bought come with a red and black wire (I am assuming positive and negative/ground) but I don't know how to wire it to doors. Maybe window controls?

This is an old thread, but if you havent figured it out yet, you would have to go thru the door jam, and where the factory harness goes through, you would be best to find a pin kit, and figure out an extra spot for the wires to be pinned into the door wiring harness. otherwise you can try to find a slack in the wire you are going to run, find a connection, and hope it doesnt get pinched. I would suggest utilizing fuses on both sides of the door incase something does get pinched and starts to ground out on the system. If you decide to loop it, loop the ground, not the hot.
