Video is self explanatory. I cannot confirm if the window tints had an effect on this feature (I tinted it two days after driving out the dealership) and it’s been an ongoing issue for about 3 months now. I’ve had the car for 7 months. Dealer states it’s the tints and to remove them to allow them to look into it. What are you guys’ thoughts?

I know some vehicles you can program/ calibrate the windows. Not sure if this is something that Hondas have or not.

It’s as if it thinks your hand is in the way so it backs back down; like elevator doors do. Can’t say it is or isn’t the tints but unfortunately may have to bite the bullet and have the one window redone to prove/disprove the dealer :/

Dealer is full of crap as there’s tons of these cars with tinted windows. I’d tell them to give me a real answer without me removing the tint or I’m contacting Acura to get in touch with a regional manager. What a crap response by the dealer.

Sometimes this happens when “in channel” window visors are added which I’m assuming you haven’t added, but can’t see.

I had the same thing happen to me a week into ownership without any tint or visors. Thankfully the Acura dealer I bought my vehicle from took it upon themselves to troubleshoot and find the solution. It ended up needing silicone lubricant in the affected window channel and it's been working perfectly since then. It seemed to be dry from the factory. I have tint and OEM window channel visors now as well.

Thank you for the share! These are the first things I do to any of my vehicles right away also.

Hey there. Mine did the same thing on the second day of ownership. At the front of the window base, close to the side mirror, the window gets pinched somehow. Took it back and was tied with 15 minutes. We liked the car so much, we bought two exactly alike!
Hope my tip helped you.

Hi OP, I had the exact same issue and brought it to the dealer. They reprogrammed it and haven't had any issues since.

Registered here JUST so I could come and say THANK YOU for this post! I have a 2024 Honda HRV and after having passenger front glass replaced, rolling it up (either holding button without auto, OR using auto) would hit the top and then roll halfway down. I followed the steps in this specific video after trying EVERYTHING ELSE on the internet, heck...even the glass shop who replaced it couldn't figure out how to get the window to work.

Only thing is this: after 4x (other variations say only 3x) repeating the sequence, the driver-side switch for passenger window wouldn't elicit ANY response from the window. Not up, down, auto...nothing. So what I did was turn the power off, back on, then went to passenger side switch and noted it would manually go up and down, but not auto. Cycled it manually all the way up, then down, power off, then auto-up and down worked, so I cycled those. Power off. THEN the driver side switch worked and worked perfectly!

The last part there in the above paragraph I was feeling around in the dark, so to speak...so don't take it verbatim. Just know that if the driver switch does nothing, you can go to passenger side and cycle it with some power off/on a few times, and it should come back to life.

It seems like your auto window up function is experiencing some issues. Xfinity Cable And Internet Packages This could be due to a variety of reasons such as a faulty switch, a malfunctioning motor, or even electrical problems. It's essential to diagnose the root cause promptly to avoid inconvenience and ensure safety. Consulting a professional mechanic or technician would be advisable to accurately assess and resolve the issue before it escalates further.

My passenger side did the same thing. The dealer fixed it. They said it just needed to be recalibrated. Now the driver side is doing the same thing every once in awhile.
