I feel this would mess with the continuity of the styling. Three different shades of glass would bother me.Thanks for everyone's input.
Going 70% front windshield, 35% front, 20% rears.
Front windshield is pretty much invisible. Its illegal to tint front winshield in our city.I feel this would mess with the continuity of the styling. Three different shades of glass would bother me.
However it’s your car not mine.
I agree. I’d rather just do 35% all around if legality were a concern, 20% if it weren’t. Then again, it sounds like the OP will be riding dirty with an illegal windshield tint anyway.I feel this would mess with the continuity of the styling. Three different shades of glass would bother me.

Yessirrrr lol.I agree. I’d rather just do 35% all around if legality were a concern, 20% if it weren’t. Then again, it sounds like the OP will be riding dirty with an illegal windshield tint anyway.
The tool they use checks when the window rolls down, so they'd need to stop you for longer to have someone bring the larger/remote tool typically for the windshield. My neighbor bought a used a5 and his tint looks like 20 sides, 15 rear, and 50 front. It's almost limo unless he's directly in the sun. Hasn't been stopped yet apparently.Yessirrrr lol.
I highly doubt they would check front windshield tho if side windows pass, which is why im leaning towards the 35
