I feel this would mess with the continuity of the styling. Three different shades of glass would bother me.

However it’s your car not mine.

Front windshield is pretty much invisible. Its illegal to tint front winshield in our city.
35 is legal limit for front windows aswell while rears are no limit, so not trying to make transition too excessive. Altho im considering going 30/20 for less contrast.

35 front windows and 20 rears is also a very common oem combo, it came stock on my other car.

I agree. I’d rather just do 35% all around if legality were a concern, 20% if it weren’t. Then again, it sounds like the OP will be riding dirty with an illegal windshield tint anyway.

Yessirrrr lol.
I highly doubt they would check front windshield tho if side windows pass, which is why im leaning towards the 35

The tool they use checks when the window rolls down, so they'd need to stop you for longer to have someone bring the larger/remote tool typically for the windshield. My neighbor bought a used a5 and his tint looks like 20 sides, 15 rear, and 50 front. It's almost limo unless he's directly in the sun. Hasn't been stopped yet apparently.
