Car Shuts Itself Off After Extended Period Of Idling Approx 30mins

I have no experience with the ITS but, most new vehicles will shut off automatically after 30 minutes of idle without input. You may be able to adjust but, I’m not sure.

This happened to me too. I assumed it was normal behavior, but I don’t know.

Again, why would you need 30 minutes? That's like, 30 different activities back to back...There could be other activities....let's not get into that

Yeah did some research and figured that out based on responses here. But I was told there is a way to disable it by doing some twinkle toes dance. Going to look into it more later. But at least it's supposed to be a feature and not a malfunction. Just completely took me by surprise. My FK8 never did that.

Yeah just don't do that. My neighbor leaves his cars idling for literally hours at a time. Drives me nuts. I don't know the science behind it but the way I see it it's like hidden miles put on a car, but worse.
