Does anyone else have what sounds like chassis/ suspension / strut rattling in the cold weather?? Seems to come from the front, but sometimes the back.
I got my ITS March 2024, been solid up until end of December… just rolling slowly, in a parking lot, not high speed out of gear over little cracks/bumps I hear the noise, making it sound cheap…

I haven’t driven the car below 30* yet but at those temps seem fine. Haven’t driven the car for about a week as the temps have been in the teens

Well below zero (Fahrenheit) today where I'm at. I think more odd noises when it's cold is normal. Clutch pedal was also noticeably slow to rebound after being pushed in to change gears.

I've got some rattles, buzzes, creaking, and more that are temperature-dependent. Though credit to my dealer: They resolved one of the buzzing sounds that was occurring somewhere from the center console after a recent visit. Service notes said they added some foam tape/insulation to the center console area.

Otherwise, weirdly, there's a creaking noise from the front that only occurs when it's warmer.

No vehicle I've had has been completely rattle/buzz free and they've always been worse when it's cold. Some better than others, but nothing that I've found to be concerning with my ITS at least. You could always have your dealer try and take a look, but these kinds of noises can be difficult to nail down and fix.

To fix the slow clutch pedal when cold, remove the CDV from the slave cylinder.

I too noticed more clunking type noises when it is cold outside (around 0 F or lower). But as soon as it becomes more hot outside, noises are gone. So I don't think that something is wrong...

Rubber bushings need warming up too
Plastic is also much more hard and brittle when very cold.

I've noticed when my heat is running (and it's midwest windy -10F) that the vents make creaky, buzzy, rattley noises. Turn the fan down or change direction of flow a few times and it quiets down.

Below zero?? I’m shocked they even sell the ITS in those areas hah!
Since it’s been sub 30 here in New York I be noticed it, and now in the teens it’s more noticeable… thanks for the feedback!

yea, the bushings get stiffer when cold so it's going to be noisier/rougher

I'm in 30F-ish weather and with the heat on the vent on the driver side front of the dash aimed at the window makes some insane creaking sounds.

Interesting! Mine is on the passenger side. Drives me mad until the fan turns down. Sometimes I can flip through airflow direction settings or turn the fan up and down manually for it to stop. Sometimes not. I can't figure out what's causing it though.

Yeah on mine that vent and the dash material around it squeaks when I press on it. Definitely some temperature and car movement dependence to it but man I'm hoping that goes away when the weather warms back up. That one is actually annoying enough I'm gonna have to pull it out and put some foam in there or something.
