My car doesn't even have 300 miles and it looks like this door linear is already melting. Anyone have this?

Mine has that too, this is normal as far as I can tell.

I believe it's designed this way to drive water away from the driver when opening the door. I read about it on another forum, I don't recall where, but totally normal. I have it as well.

This is normal and the same on the CTR. According to this article, it channels water.

Very interesting. It's strange for it to only be present on the driver's side though.

Agreed and it doesn't help that it looks like an ugly patch job rather than a feature.

I almost ordered a new weatherstrip when I asked the very same question here:)

A couple of months back I had the same rubber part had actually separated and I had a loop of the weather strip that I kept in the front of the door. I took it to the dealer and they were somehow able to put it back in place. The Service Manager (who is outstanding…Acura of Tempe, AZ) said this happens all the time and they would order me a new one. I never needed it because it has been in place ever since. If it can stay in place in 115 degree heat it is good with me.

I wonder if this is where the door visors are designed to clip in. I'll have to check mine later as I had them installed.
