Integra Emissions System Problem

Just had this issue pop up my car 5 days ago. I remembered this thread. Now before the cel I did something I don't normally do. I filled up at a mom and pop gas station because I was very low and in a rush to get to work. 2 days later this code popped up. P02455, p02456. I decided to check my fuel trims on ktuner and this what I saw.

-14 on ltft which is really high,my avg is -4 to 0. Before I decide to make an appointment to see the dealer I went to my usually gas station and filled up on 93. Within 20 mins my ltft dropped to -5.

I cleared the cel drove for a few days and has no come back and my ltft are still within range

So it's either two things.
Bad gas or I rushed filling up and left fuel in filler neck and going back to another gas station release whatever fuel was trapped but doesn't explain the high ltft

It's been 200 miles so far, no cel and fuel trims back to normal.

3rd day having mine in for the filler neck replacement. I guess it requires a special tool they don't have and had to make.. hopefully nothing else breaks in the process. They are also fixing the hatch latch rattle and windshield trim that came off. This will hold me off till June.

Did you throw the same codes? If you did I wonder what your fuel trims were

Well...it happened again. This is after putting another 5K on the odometer and after they replaced the fuel filler neck @ 2900 miles I'm starting to question the reliability of Acura as a brand if this is a reoccurring issue even after taking it to a dealership TWICE for this same issue. I'll keep you posted on what the dealership does.

Do you top off when you fill up? Sorry if this has been addressed before but that has been an issue with caplets fuel systems from the beginning.

I have reset it 4 or 5 times. Tried different gas . Have tried tunes with Ktuner and ran stock. All instances the code returned. Of course this is without the repair done. But the above post mentioning it returning after the fix doesn't make me feel any better.

O ok. So it can potentially pop back up for me. I'll keep am eye on this thread and update if the problem comes back

Did you have the repair done on it? Codes point to a evap leak which maybe that stupid capless fill neck. I have noticed when filling it up that it seems cheap and flimsy and wonder if just hanging the pump on to it when filling is stressing and cracking somwthing. From photos the new CTR doesn't have this which is good.

Never got it repaired but did my own testing

So I got it back. Dealer had to make their own tool to install. They think it was a seal issue and could have been an assembly issue at the factory. Only time will tell if it's truly fixed.

Keep us updated and if you can watch your fuel trims specifically long term. If it goes past -10/+10 let me know
