Liftgate actuator dislodging into liftgate?

Hi. Just had the button come loose and get lost in the actual liftgate!! And does anyone know how to lift the gate with this button gone?! Thanks!!

Like the unlock/open button on the lift gate .. how did that happen lol? Only way would be the key fob since there is no physical button in the inside of the car. If not then it can be opened with a bi-directional scanner, unless the lock actuator itself failed

Fingered her a little too hard eh? That button on the fob is completely useless. I think you're crawling through the seats until the dealer fixes it.

Lol had this happen to me, dealership replaced it.

Had it happen on a Subaru once. Mines been getting harder to open on mine. Wonder if it’s happening on this
