Hi Integra Forum, I just sold my '22 Civic Si and got a new Integra 6MT in Platinum White Pearl over Orchid!
Just a couple questions on accessories for the moment:
I'm seriously considering the Alcantara wheel, and was suggested by my sales guy to look at the Type S shifter boot to match. I see that the boot comes in grey or red stitching, but I'm only seeing the wheel in red. Anybody know if there is a grey stitching wheel? If not, which boot would you think? Grey to match Orchid int, or red to match the wheel?
Has anyone tried the OEM Civic rear window shades (p# 08R13-T47-100)? Says on All Discount Parts it's not a match for '24 Integra. If anyone has fit them, do the windows roll down while installed?
Thanks for now!

Any immediate differences between the Integra and Si since your acquisition? Is road noise less noticeable?

Si seat is pretty firm and tight bolstered (really squeezes in on those middle aged love handles...). Single damping rate suspension of the Si is pretty firm, not harsh, but comfort in the Integra is pretty nice especially at this one R/R crossing I tend to hit at speed if no one is in front. High beams are drastically better. Definitely quieter to the point I though the Integra was a bit slower at first drive. Don't know if it's less sound pumped in, but is less road noise. I think Sport Mode is the Si is more pronounced over Normal (Only the 2 settings). I really enjoy the HUD! I love having actual tire pressures instead of a vague "warning". There's probably some more little things.
I nearly test drove a Civic Hatch Sport Touring 6MT, was really curious if dropping to 180hp would be a big bummer. Turned out I got the Integra anyway!
Local Acura dealer seems to be stocked with nice, cool people. Honda sales people were getting more sketch with every car I got there. Started hearing complaints about service there too, but I never had much call to use them very often.

That color combo is really sweet. I didn’t catch that an ASpec could have an orchid interior or I would have gone for the red over white combo. No regrets as white over red seems to be a repeating theme in my car-buying. I should look at the steering wheels, but don’t like the Alcantara there because in Arizona dust gets into everything and combine that with sweat on my hands….well a non-porous surface is simpler to keep clean. Enjoy the car. I did a mid-level OTS K-Tuner mod and it makes a ton of difference to my seat bottom gauge. The tune I am using has a difference boost level in Sport, so I can dial it back if I want to in the other modes…..moot point as I always seem to drive in Sport. Blessings!

Is that who I think it is on that sign at the back? Hilarious.

Congratulations!

I too was hoping to find a 6MT but, they were all out. I ended up picking up a White one too but w/ red interior and Auto - Although, coming form a 2018 Civic EX. This ride so a huge improvement when it comes to fun factor. The Paddle shifter; although is CVT and not truly a MT which I was hoping for. It is still nice and tuned well OOB.

Overall, great purchase and congrats! I too didn't know they had the orchid option for the white ones! You truly got a Panda colored one ;)

Thanks! Sounds like the Orchid may be a bit more rare than I was expecting:cool:

Anyone have thoughts on the stitching colors mentioned? Should I go with Red stitched shifter boot to match the alcantara wheel or grey to go with the Orchid interior? The OE wheel and boot look to be grey, but I don't think the alcantara wheel has that option...

I would go Red to balance out the grey/white ;) and emphasize the shifter or make it pop a bit. Also, as you said... it would match with the alcatara wheel; which I suspect its also red?

If the wheel is not alccatera red, then get the grey but of coz... this would be just me :D

hey congrats on the ride. I have the Alcantera Steering wheel installed. it is OEM so the dealer installed it. highly recommended it. if you search my previous post, I posted a pic of how it looks.

Type S shifter boot or Type S shift knob? I liked the perforated leather and feel of the Type S shift knob so installed that, OEM, fairly easy install.

good luck!
