Agreed. I know most dealers like to sell locally, but one a few hours away has the exact spec I want and it’s been sitting on their lot for over 2 months. I told them I’d be down there the next day to buy it at MSRP and they won’t sell to out of town we for less than 5k markup, claiming it was due to servicing dollars they wouldn’t see. Which makes no sense to me as it’d be a few years at the earliest before they saw any servicing payments with warranty and complimentary maintenance.The car market, both new and used, are slowing down. And I think the concern over inflation/recession and uncertainty due to the election have made people either wait or pull out of the market. I think it will soon be a good buyers market.
