I walk.
Not sure if any of you other recent owners of the teggy are experiencing this but man, at 100 miles on the odo, Iā€™ve got 4 or 5 rattles / buzzes around my cabin.

The driver and passenger seatbelt sliders (to move it up and down over your shoulder) has one on each side. Iā€™ve got one on the driver side switch gear for the window controls. Thereā€™s one around the center stack controls, which sounds like the charging pad area but canā€™t find it for certain and finally thereā€™s one with the rear seat rests (I think)

Now I know this car is a sports car and I know itā€™s firm, but man.. I just sold my mk8 gti which was 20k less than this car and it was as buttoned up as can be. I also know this is luck of the draw and most people probably donā€™t have issues.

Im worried Acura service will have a hard time finding them and will end up pulling all sorts of shit apart trying to fix it and itā€™ll only make things worst. What would yā€™all do?

Patiently attempt to pin point the panel or area and try using a soft item like a plastic trim tool or tooth pics to see it you can stop a rattle. If the noise is from within a panel or window controller panel, use the tool to loosen and remove....try driving with it not reinstalled to see it noise stops.

Even if you can't fix it usually greatly improve the techs chance of knowing where to look.

The demo ITS I test drove had 2 different rattles with only ~30 miles on the odometer. Definitely a turnoff for the price.

My ASPEC had the same issue with the shoulder sliders. They buzzed till I pushed on them.

Fwiw, body side molding took care of my seat belt rattles so I didnā€™t bother taking them apart to potentially make it worse. I have an appointment on the 19th to see about the heater core which I believe is causing the last rattle from behind the dash. Otherwise no other issues for me.

Geez, already? You just got it! šŸ«

Exterior body side molding helped with the interior seat belt rattle?

So I have 1000 miles on it already and I scheduled an appointment to get my oil changed. If they are going to do that they might as well try to fix some other stuff so I donā€™t have to keep it bothering me. And the body side molding likely helped as it acted as an exterior sound dampener for all 4 doors with the weight/rubber composition. The vibrations from the doors were likely being transferred to the interior via the latch/hinges which shook the seat belt adjusters that are attached to the b pillar which is the point where both the front doors close and the rear doors are hinged. It sounds crazy, but after install I havenā€™t had any seat belt rattles driving over shitty Nashville roads 80+ mph and thinking it through it made sense to me. I am a crazy OCD person about cars so if the suffering I go through ends in a resolution that could help ease others suffering I will at least share so I wonā€™t go down as a complete asshole.

Can you post a pic of the body side molding? Iā€™m having the buzzing seatbelt slider issue too. 17 miles on my odo.

It wonā€™t cure all rattles, but it does help. I heard a brief seat belt rattle today, but it was under hard acceleration over poor terrain and was the first time the car vibrated enough to ring the springs and was a quickly gone after shifting.

Have experienced and remedied some rattles and buzzing throughout my ownership and I had pre-ordered my ASpec w/ tech May of 22. The center console rattling from 3-4k RPM has seemed to have stopped itself (perhaps then winter, to now summer/temp changes), one in passenger door metal speaker grill (loose corner (fixed)) but have recently developed a rattle that can be tamed by applying pressure to the passenger side A pillar, specifically, around the speaker grill located within it. Not sure what may have caused it but will pop it off and apply some felt tape here and there to try and eliminate it this upcoming weekend.

I too had a couple irritating noises coming from the front cabin area. One was coming from behind the dash to the left of the glove box. Sounded like hard plastics rubbing together. The sound went away after my passenger located it, and pushed on the plastic beside the glove box. When removing pressure the sound came back. Acura Tech said the clips were loose, and he also applied some type of 'paste like noise deadening insulation' there? The other noise was a vibration from the passenger seat adjustment lever. If passnger applied a little pressure to the lever vibration went away. Since leaving the dealer there are no more annoying noises, I was beginning to get really frustrated. Luckily they fixed it, the dealer was actually very concerned and determined to locate the sounds- and fix them.

Hi, any chance you can ask your dealer how they fixed the seat adjustment lever?

You can call the dealer and inquire. Acura of Barrie (Ontario). Initially I had some conflict with the service desk/staff because the first tech did a shitty job installing the splash gaurds. So I explicitly told them I wanted a senior tech to reinstall new ones. When the new ones came in I was sat down with the senior tech - Ricky is his name. He's the one who fixed the noises, nice guy. He went on and on about how he's been a Honda/Acura guy for 20 years and that he'd baby my car. He also said the splash guards from factory aren't a perfect fit so he used a heat gun to fit the new ones and make sure they were flush. On top of that he showed me that 2 of my copper wheels had paint defects, then ordered 2 new ones and installed when they came in. Anyway, ask for the senior tech at your dealer after speaking with Acura of Barrie and try to have a conversation with him.

I'm interested in this too. There's a rattle/buzzing sound in my car that I thought was coming from the glove box, but it turns out it was coming from the passenger eat. This buzzing would come up probably between ~1700-2000 RPM, especially when coasting off throttle or with very little throttle input, and that's it.

I found the source as I was knocking various pieces of the interior to try to find the buzz/rattle and it revealed itself when I hit the passenger seat.

Oddly enough, the sound would get better or worse depending on where the seat was set (forward/backward). I have it set now that the buzzing is barely there while still giving my wife enough leg room. It's essentially enough of a non-issue for now that I'll leave it until the car needs to be serviced.

Otherwise, I'm fortunate to have no other rattles/buzzing from the car (so far, knock on wood) aside from the wastegate when I let off the throttle and coast. Nothing to be done about that one, unfortunately.
