ITS has a “big” look and great looking wide stance. Overall it isn’t huge but I love the fact that it just feels big. Though it is larger than the old school Integra.
I hear that as I had a 1987 RS, bought brand new for $11K.

Or how about coming from a ‘19 Jeep Wrangler JLU on 35s? This car is tiny. Don’t take my word for it, park it in a grocery store lot and look around.
I sold my built Cherokee on 6.5" & 33's to get this also! 😄

I came from a 718- which ironically is a huge car compared to older sports cars. But still much smaller than the ITS.

I'll echo what's already been said about the turning radius, but other than that it does indeed "drive small".

However, I was frightfully made aware of how significantly I'm underestimating the car's dimensions at an autocross a couple weeks ago. I still have some adjustments to make to get used to the size... but that's literally the only time I noticed it.

Fortunately I don't try to park driving at 8-9/tenths. As long as you avoid that type of behavior, you'll be fine.

Coming from a 2005 STI, it's really apparent how big the compact class has gotten. The ITS feels huge in comparison, especially if I hop into it right after driving my s2000.

Coming from a 2005 STI, it's really apparent how big the compact class has gotten. The ITS feels huge in comparison, especially if I hop into it right after driving my s2000.

The trunk space is great, usability is great, and the car doesn't feel big to me except in parking lots, where it is harder to park in crowded lots than my Odyssey (turning radius). I find myself backing in a lot more because of this - it makes the car feel a lot longer than it is!

I too had a Gen 7 Volkswagen GTI, your comments are great and I appreciate that you pointed out the wheelbase differences as I had not taken that into consideration.
I went from 2017 Sport hatch to 2020 Si, which is 5" longer - I didn't really notice it in parking and not at all driving, but it did look very long visually when parked, which I wasn't a big fan of.

It is a factor for me, especially since the Type R is 4.5" shorter. But unless you parallel park in the city a lot (who'd do that to an ITS lol), I don't find it actually matters that much in practice. I don't think the Civic platform cars feel large on the road at all, at least the 10th gen, haven't driven any 11th gen yet.

I do wish the cars were smaller, or at least hatchback body style like my Focus, which is a foot shorter but just as roomy as a Civic. It is much easier to park than a Civic, but on the road doesn't really feel smaller or more nimble.

crazy thing is how small this car drives. I'm coming from a Stinger GT, which was 4 inches longer than the ITS, but 800 lbs heavier! Previous car was a mk7 GTI...I think the ITS drives at least as small as that. It's much more composed.
