Installed the alcantara center console.

Looks Incredible. How do you plan on keeping the alcantara clean? Vacuum plus lint roll? If it is anything like the seat inserts, they have been a nightmare to keep spotless. Little specs magically appear all the time.

Hybrid racing shifter installed. The cable connections didn't shop with lithium grease so I'm picking some up to lube. Took 20 minutes maybe less to install. Pretty easy. Going for a test drive before I button it up. It's definitely a heavier feel then stock.

Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ 20231021_1

Thinking lint roller. It's currently parked until spring as I'm rehabbing from shoulder surgery and won't be winter driven.

Whatever's easy to be honest. I'm not too OCD when it comes to keeping it spotless.

Finally finished the TSP downpipe wrapped in PTP black lava blanket with PRL front pipe & motor mount. Used 5 of the 7 titanium hardware points. I started to try with the existing ones & after they wouldn't budge, chickened out. I've f*cked up a lot of bolts in my life, so I figure I'll wait on those other 2 when I upgrade the turbo. 🤣 Same thing with the PTP turbo shield. I got it halfway on before I said screw this with getting the left side spring on & I'll just save it for the next turbo or I'll do it some other time. I really just wanted to get back up & running with D-Rob's stage 1 OTS 93 tune & boy was I glad I did! I was buttoned up by the end of lunch time yesterday, flashed after dinner & drove to the store, but now I've been driving all day - such a blast to drive & passing people has been incredibly fun! Motor mount retains much of the stock feel. Maybe a tad more pleasant vibration at idle.

Note that the down pipe blanket smokes like crazy at first! It has since gone down today as well as the smell, but was concerning at first.

Awesome! Nice job / congrats on the work!

Any noticeable changes in throttle response or spool time with the DP?

How's the motor mount?

Nice!

Very interested in feedback re: slop / crispness and how much force is req. for ea. gate, etc.!

Using stock shift knob and collar so I can use the boot. Went for a drive and the thing is surgical. It still has a little play left to right when in gear but the thing just clicks in each gear. Very solid and heavier/stiffer then factory. I might raise the height of the shift knob for additional leverage. I did grease everything up like the factory connections.

Thanks! Definitely more sound, throttle & less spool time. The tune helped with that also & since I did it all at once it's hard to gauge anything over the other. Motor mount is barely noticeable when talking about daily driving! I will have to do some more low gear digs to discern wheel hop. I'm sure what others have said about it is true though.

To follow up with the motor mount - with this amount of power I could tell the wheels had a bit of hop through second gear when WOT. Now that could also have something to do with the 1" smaller wheels & all season compound. I will do some more comparisons on the oem summer tires next summer & then will also have to put a summer set on the 18's to truly compare. *Edit: forgot that I was also on Map 1 - highest boost in all gears. Map 2 reduces 1st & 2nd gear boost a little & that might help with the bit of wheel hop I was getting.

Intercooler finally arrives tomorrow - been waiting about 2 months on that one. I've been told it really helps to wake it up as well.

This is enticing. Heavier/stiffer feel while clicking into each gear is what I would want. I don’t intend to make the throws shorter; does this have a setting to retain the throw length of OEM?

Yes it has 2 settings for each, throw and gate. One is slightly less than factory while the other offers a 50% reduction, I think throw is 30% less. I selected the shortest throw but kept the gate the same.
