So, how much of a discount?
Are you at all worried about who drove it, how they drove it, what that might mean?
I was thinking about asking them to drop 1250.00$ 1k for the msrp that went up after the first of the year and the 250 they offered me already.
you can either worry about it and miss out on this opportunity don’t get the car or buy the car knowing 125mi even with mildly abusive miles still is likely going to be just fine, that’s what warranty is for. Ask them to take it for a a few mile test drive yourself and make sure everything is in order and then buy with confidence.

I doubt anyone did anything that would severely cripple the car long-term. Even with proper breakin problems happens, just part of car ownership. I used to feel like you, but a little less so now.

Even with 5 miles on the clock, someone can sit there and rivet for an hour lol.

I say go for it and try not to overthink it! Maybe ask for a heavily discounted extended warranty instead of money off the MSRP if you are going to keep the car long term?

He just sent me pictures of two cars, a blue and a white, the blue has 4 miles on it and the white has 2.
I am just going to grab my deposit Monday and go buy one of these two cars, screw it.
They guarantee to beat my current out the door price with two accessories installed and the cars have the miles I want to see, so it was an easy decision.
Update:
If you have followed along, I have an update and this is it,.
So the other dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
$58,859,54 out the door total for the car, Apex blue with ebony interior with 4 miles on the Odometer, with door visors, splash guards, locking lug nuts, all fees and taxes, reg etc.. complete picture, out the door.
So, I took it.
I'm financing 41k of it.

May not hurt to call that dealer today and request they have the check ready for you on Monday morning.
Already did, they said Monday, Tuesday at the latest, I said, I will stop in Friday to get it, I am going Friday morning to get my car, sign the papers and pay.
So I'll get it then, turns out, I don't even need the $1`k to close the deal, I have more than enough already so even if they held me up it wouldn't have stopped things, but yeah, I get it back Monday or Friday.
Friday, I get my new car, I am very excited and so glad I [posted this, all the input helped me think.
It worked out better than I could have hoped, I got a great deal on a good color with 4 miles on it.

This is going to be the longest weekend of your life now that you know you'll be taking delivery of a car Monday lol.
Actually, I go a week from today to pick up the car, Monday I go close the loan at my bank.
But yes, it will be a very long week.

I bought an Apex blue with 4 miles on it instead for 1k less than their previously best deal that includes splash guards, door visors and locking lug nuts.

I suffer from anxiety so not over thinking it isn't in the cards for me, LOL.
but, now I don't have to worry about it at all and I saved another 600$ and got a car with 4 miles.
I am buying this as a gift for myself, I don't need a car, I deserve one though and my dream has always been to buy a new Honda or Acura and break it in myself so when I saw 144 I was sick to my stomach about it, this feels a lot better.

Are you aware of an option contract? You can sign the papers and take delivery today and then you have x amount of days to secure your own financing or it defaults to the dealer financing.

That's what I do since my financing was with Navy Fed and with Navy Fed, they actually cut a check. I had to go into a branch to pick up the loan check and I took it back to the dealer the next day.

This is usually just a tickmark on a standard purchase contract by the way.

Thanks for that.
I never bought like this before, in years past, I was at the mercy of the dealer for financing, but this time I got my own.
I am ok with the way it is, I go to close my loan Monday and pick up the car Friday next week, it is fine.
I am very happy with both the deal and the car and mostly the miles on the car, I have seen as low as 8 miles on one but never lower than that so 4 miles makes me very happy, they have a white with 2 miles on it but even though I like white, I think the front end looks better in dark colors like liquid carbon, tigers eye or apex blue, so we went with the Apex Blue.

Well I'm glad you came to a decision!

Although I will disagree with your last assessment - I specifically sought PWP with red interior (which is what I have)!

Well, I want the ebony interior no matter what and although I like the white, when I see a tiger's eye or liquid carbon next to a white, I prefer the darker colors, the hood lines disappear on the white unlike the carbon or blue or tigers eye pearl, in my opinion anyway but hey to each his own.

I must say, this thread has more plot twists and drama than a telenovela.

Glad you got one in the end

I like it. End of the day you got what you wanted at a deal you not only can live with, but appear to feel pretty good about.

The car itself and owning it is also its own joy as you'll soon find out. As much as I love my Performance Red, Apex Blue was actually my first choice after seeing it in person. I too would have gone with the ebony interior.

This is the way.

Cherry brah!

Do you have a color preference?
I do, Tigers eye pearl is my number 1`, there is only 1 in 4 surrounding states, so that is out, second choice is Liquid carbon, the one I can get has 144 miles on it, so I passed, Apex blue, then lunar silver and white in that order are my next best.
So, I ended up with an Apex Blue with ebony interior, not my first choice, but totally acceptable.
The ebony interior was a must, it was the exteriror color I was trying to find, but I ama very happy with Apex Blue.
