First 50 LCM ITS Deliveries?

I checked around and still see 0 LCMs in transit on the Acura website, but wouldn't be surprised if it takes a few days to process especially if these weren't in the planned production.

So, assuming we are getting the old cars, I guess that means our paint will be fully baked by now and I can take it straight to ppf!

This is just my opinion, but there is no clear benchmark. It really depends on the methods Acura uses for paint and curing, if we know that then we could probably have a better idea. Like if they bake after paint, I don't think anytime is needed. If they don't, then a minimum of 30 days is usually suggested (that's what installers will say if you just did a respray). Others prefer to wait 60-90 days to make sure all the solvents have outgassed and you have full paint adhesion/curing.

Course, during that 60-90 days you might get other paint damage, so it's a gamble unless you want to garage it for a few months

This would be a good assumption.

The only place I have seen it mentioned is the PMC editions. I think they state 60 days after painting for PPF

I’m at my dealer taking care of something else. While I was here my LCM’s shipping went from blank to pending. Salesman said I’ll likely have an ETA on Monday.

Spoke to the GM of my dealership and he said the car shows as built in their system and just needs to be loaded on to the train. I was assigned a new VIN (finally) and while he can’t make promises, he says he expects the car to be in the lot in 10days.

Congrats!!! 10 days to San Diego? That would be amazing if true!

As for your VIN, is the number high or low? Just wondering if we are getting the OGs or new production.

The last 3 digits is in the 600’s but I have no reference point as to whether that’s new or not.

For those that had an OG VIN, what range was it? My guess is you got a new car? I highly doubt the old models got new VINs, but maybe I am wrong.

My first vin was in the 400s this one is 500s
