I have the PRL HVI, but how do you like the K&N intake? Wondering if there’s much of a difference or worth the swap.

Car looks amazing by the way!
I only have the drop in air filter that’s like $50 with the stock intake. It makes the car a bit louder. I’m happy without an intake. From what I know k&n is more loud and you can hear more turbo sounds. But if you already have the hvi I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade.

Spacers are a no go ❌. Will wait until I find a nicer pair of wheels on the low LOL.

Those cut out on the stock rim are not low enough for the studs.

I'm so confused: what is actually interfering with the wheel and/or spacer? Why can't the wheel sit flush?
The spacers have their own lugs and holes for your stock lugs to pass through. With a 20mm or less spacer, the original lugs make contact with this bored out spaces in the back of the wheel whereas with the 25mm+, the tip of the lug doesn’t contact it.
I’m unsure what is causing the non-flush fitment of the spacer to the hub though; that I haven’t experienced or seen posted about

You answers your own question LOL. It’s because the lugs are contacting the rim before it reaches the hub

It's probably just a few mm of material in your way. You wouldn't harm the wheel much removing it. I'll bet some people just torque it down and let the studs do it.

That is def not something I would like to risk. Purposely dremmeling into the rim. No thanks.

Just gotta dremmel the holes, cut the oem lugs shorter or torque those lugs down eaxtra to close the gap it seems. Either that or run a larger spacer

The best approach would be to try 25mm spacers. Idk just drilling into the rim and throwing off the balance or worse case scenario starting a pilot hole for a large crack is not worth it. Trimming the stocks bolt would be cake but I would rather go the replacement lug route at that point

Cutting the original lugs is a bad idea and a great way to end up with stripped lug nuts. It would be best to replace the lugs with aftermarket, shorter pieces instead.

I’m just not going to put any spacers now! LOL. I’m okay with how she’s sitting until new shoes 👀
