Was at IMW today, got the ECU unlocked and TSP1 loaded by DRob. Car feels great! Considerably better top end pull and more lively mid range. Rev hang gone is another blessing.

Also turns out my coolant reservoir is ALSO cracked and leaking.
Aw man, I saw that earlier. Sorry to hear. You have a TEP it looks like? Going with oem or metal?

Been annoyed with the mirror carbon fiber caps for a few months as dealer installed them too low. Decided to rip them off then tried some ideas

Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ 9AB6E799-5588-4022-8A47-86D0AE4F7462

figured this can be a subtle red accent as is present on other areas of the car. The CTR all red mirror caps on the JDM type R is a little much. Decided to go with this.

I actually like that. Like, a lot lol. Wouldn't work on all colors but man that looks pretty damn sharp in these pics, nice job!

it could work with many colors. My second choice for this car was performance red pearl. The Bronze wheels then I would do a slight bronze/gold mirror accent to match

it’s just vinyl afterall. Easily changed or removed :)

Yep, all red on the mirrors would be too much for me also. I dig the subtle color pop.

subtle red accent mirrors would work with all exterior colors I think. Matches red S badges and red brake calipers. Alternatively, bronze/gold, ebony white, silver, blue accents could work as well.

Fixed two OEM flaws today.
  1. Apple MagSafe Adapter (Etsy Link)
  2. Mishimoto Aluminum Coolant Expansion tank (Link)

Can you please confirm that the Mishimoto expansion tank is a direct bolt-on even if not made for the FL5/DE5 specifically?

Confirming it is a direct bolt-on. Two bolts to remove the coolant tank and 3 bolts to remove a bracket so you can get the larger hose disconnected.

I followed this video for installation.

Note: Keep in mind that there is no need to replace the mount with the Mishimoto expansion tank.

Got some Continental DWS 06 Plus’s put on today in the stock tire size. I’m loving them so far!

Can’t decide if I want to grab a set of BBS’s to throw the summer tires on…or just sell them. I feel like if I get some aftermarket wheels, I’ll be inclined to lower the car, which I don’t want to do right now.

Guess for now I’ll just throw them in the basement 🤷

Any noticeable difference in tire noise? I have DWS 06 Plus sitting in my garage waiting to go on next week. I opted for 35 series over 30 though, for a softer ride.

I have the same tire but wider set up in 18s and they were much quieter at first, but around 4000 miles on them now and they are already getting pretty noisy, close to the same as the Michelin’s.
