I don't know about you guys, but it's just enough to make it to the office and back twice a week between fill-ups. 120 miles of range per tank ain't TOO bad.
Taking my truck to work, I can get away with just visiting the gas station 2x a month.

Splitting the time with the DE5, I find myself having an additional trip to the gas station which isn't bad at all. The annoying part is just that nagging feeling when the tank is right around1/4 and I feel compelled to take it to the gas station already.

CALLED IT!

oh that's hilarious coming from the unstable retard that routinely writes 500 word essays lecturing us about how we aren't the target demographic of the car and how we just don't understand driving dynamics , all because your pussy gets sore whenever someone mildly criticizes any microscopic facet of the car. i actually went through that thread on the civicxi forums trying to figure out which post got you so fucking triggered and honestly to no one's surprise there isn't really anything there other than more benign criticism over how the cars looks, and that's all it takes for an emotionally incontinent dumbass to come unhinged.

but yeah, blah blah blah, your posts are getting increasingly less interesting, it's just the same projection over and over where you try to insult me but you're clearly just describing yourself.

the funniest thing about all of this is how your avenue of attack was to literally complain about a posted discussion on a message board- yeah that's real fucking brilliant lmao. what's next- you gonna call up your city and complain that there's tire marks on the road? i understand you're limited by a severe cognitive impairment, but this is the best you can do?

Keep SEETHING bro.
Yeah this has definitely run its course, but it is funny to think of you sitting there giggling to yourself thinking you won an internet argument. People like you can be fun sometimes but defaulting to cussing incessantly and repeating yourself wears thin eventually.

I am still deeply concerned about your overall mental health, but I'm starting to get the sense you're harmless because you haven't threatened physical violence yet. We can still be friends.

If you're lucky you might get a pm.😂
Go back and check, since you want to get "personal". Who PM'd who first?

My very favorite optronix quote and maybe one of the most perfect things I've seen on any forum ever is "idiots tend to not know that they are idiots themselves"
Still poignant.

No, you most definitely are not. You'd need a spell checker, thesaurus, and AI to help you with that.

And you're wrong. Check your inbox. May 8, 2023.

Here's the thing guys let me let you all in on a little secret- I never said I wasn't an idiot. That is immutable fact just simply because I engage with you clowns in this little back and forth... and admittedly it's part of why I come to these forums.

The hilarious part is that many of you still think you are not idiots.

And there are varying degrees of idiocy. That is a certainty.

😂 Something from a year ago. You must be one of those that never forgives or forgets and reminds those of things with zero relevance.
Whatever gets you off I guess.

The front parking sensors popping on everytime I'm in a drive thru, behind a car at a stop light, or just parking. My Audi let me switch off the front parking alerts while keeping the rears. My ITS appears to only have both on or both off. I like using the rears, but thinking about just switching it off because it is such a constant, daily annoyance.
If you press the right scroll wheel, it mutes the beeping sound. Very nice for me while pulling in and out of the garage.

Actually this isn't completely true. I forgive a lot. We're still talking aren't we? I try to keep things in a vacuum because it's a small world. I don't know any of you and I don't particularly want any of you to know me. I'm 100% certain I'd get along great with each and every person on this board in person.

Just like I'm 100% certain our buddy @SlippyFist would not talk to people in person like he posts on here. That's just not why I'm here- to simulate reality. If I wanted to do that there are plenty of live car events I could go to and meet real people. You are all just digital traces of your real selves. That's why I can disagree with someone to the point of devolving into childish name-calling in one thread, and agree wholeheartedly in another. All of us should be capable of doing that, IMHO.

I don't typically forget though, you've got me there. So when I see someone crying about a car he spent over $50k on spanning multiple threads? To most it would look like I'm "following him around".

To me, I just think he's an idiot with a ton of hilariously bad takes and a tendency to double down when he's dead wrong, and it's fun to trigger people like that.

Is he an actual idiot? I don't know, and I probably never will based on the sample size of posts on this board. But are some of his takes idiotic? Hell yes. lol. I'm sure many people think mine are too, and that's fine with me.

It just means they're idiots. ;)

And before anyone says anything, I get triggered too. Like, I disagree with the purpose of this entire thread. That's why it's probably going to take mod intervention before I stop intentionally trolling people in here.

Or you could just stop replying and I'll get bored eventually.

For folks who already own this car, what legit purpose is there in whining about trivial shit in here? Seriously.

Time for a meet up!

Are there even mods in this thing? I haven't ever seen anything worthy of moderator intervention, not like over in Civic land, so whoever it is sure has it easy.

There's a fine line between whining and sharing criticism. This differs for each person but very simply if 100 owners were to complain about a relatively easy thing to fix, if I was a business owner in the space, I would take the opportunity to craft a solution and make some money out of solving people's "problems", even if they're trivial.

If the Acura planning department had half a brain, they'd also be on here looking on how to refine the car further. Not all are merited in my opinion, but they're just that, opinions which everyone is entitled to their own and we can respectfully disagree.

-As many have complained, no HomeLink is kinda dumb, but not a huge deal. A Civic or Accord HomeLink mirror can be adapted with a bit of work, so at some point I might do that.
Actually, the 2024 Accord HomeLink mirror, and attachment, can be installed w/o the need to adapt it. I guess if you wanted to maintain the exact positioning of the original ITS mirror, you could swap the base between them, but definitely not necessary in my opinion. Here's my post on following Honda's installation instructions:

Nah. Signal to noise is way too low. This is all masturbatory.

Ok good it's not just me. I also heard the same thing and expected near to no torque steer so it was a bit of surprise when the steering got squirrely as I got on the gas for the firs time to pass someone.
I had this noticeable pull to the left with torque steer, thought the same thing given there was so much talk by Honda how they "virtually eliminated it". Out of curiosity I had the dealer check the alignment and sure enough it was out of spec with ~800 miles on it.

Getting the alignment pulled back in correctly greatly reduced the torque steer to where I don't feel it much anymore, if any in those cases around town. It seems like these high-torque FF platforms are more sensitive to wheel alignment.

So anyone who is experiencing similar I'd suggest getting an alignment even if the car is brand new (mine was covered under warranty being so low miles).
