When you pull out the stock LED, there is a black piece attached to it that you have to remove and install on the new, red LED in order to guide the tail end of the LED strip directly up to the LED. When I removed the stock LED, I broke off this small piece of plastic INSIDE of the black piece. I had to completely remove the door panel and pry open that LED mechanism so I could superglue that piece back on. Once I had done this (with extreme difficulty), everything worked beautifully!
Hopefully this helps someone in the future! Below is the piece in question and the before (broken install) and after (superglued and fixed install). I LOVE them.

For what it's worth, I did the RMM alongside rigid collars, and the extra NVH is barely noticeable (a little at idle and a bit of vibration after downshifting to 3rd around 45mph)How are the extra vibrations in the cabin?
I can feel a little bit of extra vibrations at idle, but I canβt really feel anything additional while driving. How are the extra vibrations in the cabin?
i actually watched an install the other day and they took some sandpaper to the that metal ball. i wonder if that was to make it fit.Installed the Sirimoto bushings and the result is slightly more notchy. I was more looking forward to the short shifter adapter but ran into some issues.
Has anybody installed the short shift kit from them? The supplied white bushing doesn't quite go into the bushing housing. The OE (yellow) bushing doesn't fit the Sirimoto adapter.
interesting, do you have a link to the video or was it in person?i actually watched an install the other day and they took some sandpaper to the that metal ball. i wonder if that was to make it fit.
