I ordered the dash, door handle, lower steering wheel, and door switch pieces. I guess I'll get the 3m tape mentioned and for the switch portion.
@Bluebiker For the defect did you contact them?

I noticed the tape is different on my door trim from what they have on the dash trim . I used my own , debating if I should try there tape that’s on the dash . Did you change that on yours ? Where is the blemish ? Any pics ?
I didn’t change tape since I wanted to keep the fitment so I used hot glue. I’ll attach a pic of the blemish.

yeah we are working it out. Seems like they are giving me options. Will update. If you are gonna use 3m tape you might want to use the thin one regular mounting tape is too thick. I was trying to get the perfect fit like what @notorious9i6 was suggesting by repositioning but edges kept lifting / creaking on curved edges ie ( controls trim where it rounds )

Matte or gloss?
Matte

Darn, I already ordered and received what was suggested here, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002JOVUO0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. I have only ordered the center console overlay in matte as a test, is shipped quickly and is already in the US. Maybe I don't need to change out the tape on it and can just go with what it has. If I like how it looks and fits will probably go with more but not sure I will do everything.

I used that tape , parts fit perfect with it. Just be sure to remove the tape it comes with first. I have used this on my door panels and rear cup holder with no issue. I am going to do the dash soon and may go with something a bit thinner for that .

Also regarding the tape the parts come with , if you are going to use it. I would say make sure you clean the surface you are installing the parts on first with some iso and than take a hairdryer after installed and heat the panels up a bit to get the tape sticky and gently push down on the parts . Should help allot.

Great, thank you for the advice. When I got this car a few months ago my wife said "I hope you take better care of this car than the last." The last was her hand me down 2011 Sonata. My reply was, "I fear becoming obsessed." and here we are........lol

Did you get the lower steering wheel piece with or without the cutout? I have the ASpec wheel but wouldn’t mind covering the logo on the wheel but unsure if the pice will sit flush as the ASpec logo sticks up off the wheel (I’m assuming the type s wheel’s logo does the same)

With cutout for the Type S logo which is the same size as the Aspec

I installed the rest of the pieces.

I recommend replacing tape on any piece that goes on the door. There are so many curved surfaces on it that the existing tape doesn’t adhere well even after heating it up ( at least for me )

The dash installed perfectly with the original tape.

I bought this mounting tape https://a.co/d/boMXOzZ

the door trim isn’t going anywhere. I feel like the cup holder also needs new tape.

My recommendation is the tansocars website to order through. Mines out for delivery in just a week.
No sales tax

I just posted the coupons for Jogon also in the first post. They are the same company and have like 3 websites. Why I dont know , Most likely a strategy for more sales. They are also on ebay , amazon and aliexpress from what I can see. Once they actually ship , if you order direct from there sites , it usually takes 1-2 weeks to arrive to you in the U.S.

Just got my glossy CF shifter console in and installed. The CF is very thin but ideal since it isn't structural and we don't want to add too much thickness otherwise the buttons would be harder to press. I was torn on the gloss or the matte, and after comparing to the piano black plastic, I think you can't go wrong with either. Looking at the before and after, this seems like how it should come from the factory to jazz up the interior, similar to the Blackwing CT4V. The original piano black just looks so lame. The Overland alcantara cover is the other popular option but I never could dig the look of it either, just was not my taste.
