Armrest holding me back from pulling the trigger

I have driven a couple a M6 integra's and, given my 6'2" build, i keep hitting my right arm on the armrest notch. I am look for solutions and recently read and saw that the Integra's sister, Civic has two armrest, one for the CCTV and the other for a manual. does anyone have any suggestions and/or knowledge if the Civic armrest is interchangeable with the Integra. OR, are there any aftermarket suppliers of armrest with out a cutout?

If you think that's bad wait until you have something tall in the cup holders and can't shift for shit because it's right where your arm should be.

You said left arm but did you mean right arm? like shifting hitting the center console armrest? 6'3" here I don't have that issue

There is plenty of headroom, maybe try raising the seat just a bit. That will bring your elbow up.

The notch in the armrest bugged me at first, but I got used to it quickly and seem to have no problem finding a spot to rest my elbow any more. I wouldn't let that hold you back from everything else great about these cars.

Iā€™m 6ā€™3 Iā€™ve had the car 3 weeks 1900 miles which included 7 hour road trip (each way). I find this car very comfortable up to about 5 hours. At that point the hash ride does kick in a bit. That said still not terrible but my other cars are much more pleasant for 5+ hours. Anything less than that so far everything about the car is very comfortable for me. I donā€™t notice any issues with the armrest. Obviously just my experience.

HAHAHA

This is my biggest complaint with the car. It's changed my behavior in that I now refuse to allow drinks with straws in the front cup holders because the straws poke my arm while I'm shifting!

Same experience, 6'4 and the car is great fit wise w/ 7k km (but it wouldn't be my first choice for an 8hr drive).

Agree. Iā€™ve actually bought some shorter coffee cups. A small price to pay for a stick shift. šŸ˜

It's better than the G80 m3 I drove. Literally every shift had me smacking a 22oz yeti cup I have with my knuckles. In this car I keep a low cup at all times, and I just don't do fast food anyway so anything with a straw won't exist in my car.

I'm 6'0ā€œ but I'm all limbs. I've had no issues with the arm rest positioning, especially since I tend to 8-4 my steering wheel while highway driving. I've found I really need the seat high up in this car, otherwise the seating position doesn't allow for good shifting and steering posture.

That said, about 3hrs is the limit for me in this car. The seats are rock hard, have basically no support, and they're way too wide. I appreciate the lattitude in the lat area, but the hips need a lot more bolstering, because it's just way too wide. Also the front belts are MASSIVE. I bet this car was tested with a 300lb human, because the proportions in certain areas are hysterically huge. Even my buddy who slides every car's seat way back and low said the Its was too large.
