I got up in there and looked. Hard to see much with the wheels attached. The sensors in the front do look connected though from pictures I’ve seen on the internets. I’m hoping the module or whatever it is didn’t get fried in some manor. I do find it odd that it only comes on after 15 minutes of driving. If it was truly damaged you’d think it would come on immediately upon starting the car. But I’m pretty retarded when it comes to car stuff.
Depends. A pulled wire could be making contact until some movement, or the level sensor might be fine until the car realizes one axle hasn't changed level at all.

If you couldn't feel our see anything loose then hopefully a scan points in the right direction.

Just timed it. It took exactly 20 minutes to go off.

Is it exactly 20 each time?

I almost never drive 20min or more so if I had this I'd be blind to it 🤣.

It's sounding more and more like could be a level sensor that got disconnected to me. I haven't looked at the acura one, but they're usually a ball and socket with swivel arm mechanism. It's not impossible (or uncommon) for people to break or pop off the socket end to do certain work. Not tires typically... Usually it's when you're taking the control arm down further or dropping it. Did they also give you an alignment?

I'll try to look at mine today to see what it looks like exactly.

Started my car at 9:40am and took off, exactly as the clock struck 10am it came on. And they did do an alignment. It came with the tire install. Although I’m not sure why they did. I had like 300 miles on the car when I got the new tires put on.

I don't trust a new car alignment. I've seen them be a little and far off. Mine on my its was out of spec in two areas from factory. I negotiated a day 1 alignment as part of the sale.

Once set, it should stay set.

If it's spot on 20 mins each time it might be a programmatic and learning over time type issue, like a sensor reporting, but just not in the range the logic expects.

When's your dealer visit?

So update, the dealer thinks it has something to do with it being so epicly cold out. I had to look up how the ADS works in these cars to get a better understanding of why it might be happening, wasn’t aware of there was fluid and magnets and all that jazz going on in there. Gonna test it out over the next week or so since it will be warmer here in Ohio over the next week. They also checked all the plugged in bits and everything looked fine. Does anyone regularly drive their ITS in 20 degree or lower temps? Anyone have this error? The only info I could find online was someone with a CTR having the same issue.

We just had a week of lows being in the single digits and negatives with wind chill in the negative teens.

I do not get a code or error like that.

If the dealer thinks it's weather dependent, they're off their rocker. After 20mins of driving the car is WARMER not colder than when you started. Especially suspension parts that are in constant use.

I was wrong about the 20 minute thing, sort of. It seems kind of random now. I drove to an appointment to get a rock chip in my windshield fixed, didn’t happen, they fixed it, and when the guy brought my car around after he was done it was on. It sat for about 30 minutes when he was working on it. Drove over the dealer, no error. Drove home, no error. So it seems random

Definitely not cold related, I would have seen it by now (not to mention hundreds of other people).

your first mistake was taking it to a carwash machine in the first place. Those things are terrible for your suspension and scratch the paint

I’ve taken every single car I’ve owned through that very same one. Never had an issue

Not gonna lie, I cringe at any automated wash because all it takes is one piece of small debris to cause 700$ of damage in half a second.

There is no automated wash that's "safe" for a car, and if I spend time polishing and wet sanding a car to make it "perfect" I can guarantee an automated wash of any sort will put thousands of scratches into it in just one wash.

That said, everyone has their own personal tolerance of what's acceptable and what's not. One person notices every scratch and swirl, while another says their car is immaculate. It's a personal view thing. Every automated wash will scratch your car, but to the degree you care is up to you. It's not uncommon for them to be strong enough to dislodge or break sensitive electronics, and the one "higher end" near me I see people stop the manager all the time to point out scratches, chips, and other issues. Last time I was pumping gas, I heard a lady with a crv complaining to the manager about a dime sized chip where he offered her 3 months of free washes and a 50$ coupon, which she seemed to gladly take. 700$+ in damage she forgave for basically $110. Blew my mind, but she walked away happy.

Not saying the auto wash did true damage for you here, but I wouldn't rule out water intrusion (probably from a poor seal) or debris knocking a sensor or connector enough to cause electrical issues.

One thing is for sure... Cold weather shouldn't cause your car to fall apart, so the dealer needs to go back to the drawing board. I would tell them clearly "I don't accept your logic or rationale as reality... Either have an acura engineer verify your claim or try again"
