I wonder if there's some dials from another acura that can be used as a whole and not just the knob?
The oem ones in the integra are just cheap and flimsy feeling. Is it just me or do everyone's knobs wiggle a ton left to right before any engagement and the clicks feel very hollow and weak...
Oh man! I miss these! As a kid, they were always fun to slide around on. They'd probably make a decent upgrade these days if done right. Most seats just don't breath like fabric used to.
I wouldn't bother with drilled or slotted rotors. Drilled just crack more frequently. Slotted only benefit in sopping wet weather. Otherwise holes and slots will eat your pads faster and make the bed in process more of a pain.
@op, brake pad break in is typically a few hundred miles, but can go...
It's so state dependent. Most states the dealer literally can't do it because property taxes are due during registration as well as license, insurance proof, and in person validation.
Could always get a po box in Montana like every wealthy person escaping taxes and avoid all sales and property...
This seems like the start of an argument of why road/track tuning is important due to airflow and real world performance/consistency.
Especially for HPDE, TT, or w2w it's hard to get better and be consistent if your car is losing 20hp after 3 or 4 laps at mostly WOT.
Nice to have the data. Thank you for putting this together!
Does it make a difference for the intake or exhaust dyno if you were to drive the car around for 50 miles for the ecu to relearn its new intake and exhaust metrics after the change or was that included in your test?
Do you have any...
180-200$ is typical fair labor today. 10 yrs ago 120 was fair.
55 is nuts. I don't even get charged that low when carrying livery and rep for a shop... Downright shady.
@optronix, I used to have state farm and they labeled 3 glass claims as "weather related claims" which totally messed up my...
It sounds like his issue is that the valve seats on the inside face rather than outside face, so there's a 70 degree variance to how the inside of the valve sits. A tpms sensor would typically poke towards the inside if the valve isn't adjustable in this case.
So yeah, agreed, replace the...
For 25, only black, white, and grey have the red interior.
My suspicion is that white is generally more rare because it's "more different" (ugly English, yes). With black or red you have the same insert, same thread, same steering wheel, same shift knob, but just some different leather. White...
Just throwing this out there for anyone that hates videos and prefers reading like me,
https://www.nicoclub.com/archives/kn-vs-oem-filter.html
TLDR, what you gain in flow you often lose in filter efficiency, and surprisingly flow on modern paper filters is way better than you'd think. It's an...
A few reasons. As stupid as it may seem, a bit thing for me was cup holder placement because my wife and child have a tendency to bring things or drop them in there. In the m3 I was constantly hitting my 20z yeti mug, and that was an immediate problem.
The rest of the car was awesome...
LCM looks great in person! Good luck with the deal! I baked in lots of extras and had them price match + give labor discounts. Worked out to the best deal this way. Technically I got 1700 below msrp (57.6k$) and on the middle end of kbb values for my trade. Reasonable deal for both parties with...
When it comes to car colors and value retention, there are two semi-independent scales, color preference and rarity. The white interior is the most rare, followed by red, followed by black. The colors in terms of rarity are gold (type s cars only), red, silver, blue, white, grey, black. Rarity...
