Honestly, it might just be about the easiest mod to do. Go ahead and get a spare A pillar clip in case of breakage (one may have come with your harness) and it's basically risk free as well.

This is the way I did it and was super easy. The hardest part was getting the trim off to remove the mirror!

I actually bought both an Accord & Integra mirror and swapped all the "guts" and did the wiring changes first - then just swapped the mirrors in the car. Was able to sell the used OEM Integra mirror and Accord/Integra franken-mirror (without HomeLink) on eBay to get back most of my costs.

Came out great and works as planned!

Franken-mirror is really easy and turned out great for me....zero issues. Getting the trim off to access the mirror stalk was the hardest part.
Do it!

I didn’t feel like going this route so I am on the acuralink/myQ trial and actually like it. If you pay for 5 years up front the math comes out to something like $2.xx a month. I hate subscriptions but I don’t mind $2 a month. When getting within about 150 feet of my house a notification pops up on Apple CarPlay and can simply click to open. Just throwing up another option for those who don’t want to frankenmirror

Got mine done last night. Pretty straightforward and painless!

I just got mine today. The wiring part sounds just slightly confusing but I'm sure it will make more sense when I'm in there.

While I was waiting for the mirror to arrive I installed a smart garage door adapter for my garage door unit. It makes it so I can say "Open the garage" to Google and it opens the garage door very fast. So, now I'll just be installing this to spite the fact that they don't have this option for the Integra

You got the PnP harness or your going to jumer the wires like I did? If your jumpering, it's easy just red and yellow wires at the connector

Yeah, going to jump it. Ohhhh, I get what you mean! Wire inserted into the connector, then insert into the connector where the other goes in.... Is that what you mean?

In the video he said he pulled back the wire sleeve and soldered them together.

Just throw a jumper wire from one terminal to the next..no need to solder
