Honestly, it might just be about the easiest mod to do. Go ahead and get a spare A pillar clip in case of breakage (one may have come with your harness) and it's basically risk free as well.
Didn't get the harness..gonna retrofit with the stock mirror

This is the way I did it and was super easy. The hardest part was getting the trim off to remove the mirror!

I actually bought both an Accord & Integra mirror and swapped all the "guts" and did the wiring changes first - then just swapped the mirrors in the car. Was able to sell the used OEM Integra mirror and Accord/Integra franken-mirror (without HomeLink) on eBay to get back most of my costs.

Curious to see how this goes. I've been on the fence about doing the same thing. Also thinking to just do the retrofit and frankenstein the Accord & Integra mirrors together. Let us know how it goes and any issues/call outs you run into.
