So, driving around today, came out of a car wash. And about 10 seconds later, I got an error on my 25 ITS that says adaptive suspension error, see your dealer. Anyone ever get this?

Do a visual inspection of each wheel wiring harness behind each wheel. If one is unplugged (or ripped), you’ll get that error message.

After getting to my dad’s house, went inside for about an hour. Went back to my car got in fired it up, no errors. Drove home, no errors. Is it possible that the aggressive underbody spray maybe knocked them sensors around?

There aren't sensors, just a cable going into the shocks to change the mode. Maybe one of the connectors experienced water intrusion. I'd definitely want to check over each shock to make sure there wasn't physical damage to the harness or connector.

So, it’s come back a few times. It seems like it only shows up after about 15ish minutes of driving. Have an appointment at the Acura dealership on Wednesday. I recently had all season tires put on, I’m wondering if maybe something got unplugged or loosened during that process.

Why not just jack the car and look yourself first?

It seems like the wheels need to come off. I don’t have the means to do that by myself.

Turn the steering all the way in one direction, get down on the ground, and reach in and take a look. If you need more room you can park it on a curb then turn the wheel.

You can also buy a 2x12 at home depot and a hand saw for 25$ and make your own race ramps in about 15 mins.

I wasn’t aware you could actually see em by turning the wheels. I’m assuming they’re on all 4 wheels right? Or is it just in the front?

Each of the 4 shocks will have a wire connected. It's unlikely it came loose but if it's torn or pulled you should be able to feel/see it. A light tug (5lbs)on the wire shouldn't pull anything loose under normal conditions

The rears are visible if you lay down behind the car on a driveway.

On my other car, I have an adjuster on the bottom and top of each shock. To reach the bottom ones, I lay down next to the rear wheels with my feet facing forward, then tilt my head and arm around the back of the rear wheel, and I can easily reach every part of the control arm and shock assembly. Similar procedure for the front just feet facing back of car and tire turned out for more room because of the bumper.

I recommend personal visual and feel inspection just for your own peace of mind and so you know for the future what it "looked like" before.

It first happened after exiting an automatic car wash. That has an underbody spray. It’s high pressured water. I can’t imagine it sprays so hard it could mess anything up. I also couldn’t imagine just driving around in the rain/wet conditions would affect it. That would just be a really silly design flaw. But I suppose anything is possible

I agree.

Those auto washes, especially the underbody spray, are also known to spray debris from previous cars. Could maybe some road debris or a loose piece of plastic from a previous vehicle have left something that the high power jet knocked a cable loose with? Water intrusion seems unlikely to me, but could be.

Hard to speculate not knowing conditions or being there honestly, but clearly SOMETHING happened if it started occurring right after.

It also happened to be a day after getting new tires. Does any of that stuff get touched when getting new tires?

Typically not. But it's possible they knocked into a sensor or wire. There are level sensors on the arms that determine wheel deflection for the adaptive suspension.

I got up in there and looked. Hard to see much with the wheels attached. The sensors in the front do look connected though from pictures I’ve seen on the internets. I’m hoping the module or whatever it is didn’t get fried in some manor. I do find it odd that it only comes on after 15 minutes of driving. If it was truly damaged you’d think it would come on immediately upon starting the car. But I’m pretty retarded when it comes to car stuff.
