Did they give you a part number of what they replaced?

I think we're all super curious now! Lol

Yea seriously. I thought that was the whole point. Did they have to replace a shock? Please post a pic of the receipt if possible or the part number and description at the very least.

Thanks!

Abs sensor wire! Definitely something that can be knocked about during a wheel install or an underbody wash.

Makes sense now. Thank you for posting.

Thanks for posting this! I’m still investigating my own issue, but this sheds light on the potential fix.

If I had to guess whether it was the tire install or the car wash, I lean more towards the tire install. Although it could have been a mixture of both though. I really hope it’s not the car wash though. I’m semi afraid to take it back through. Oddly enough, I had been through the one by my work a few times. It only happened when I went to one farther away from work on a trip to a micro center. I don’t know if maybe that one has higher pressure underbody wash. Who knows.

Do you know how they clamped the car during the wash? It wasn't the hook on chain style I hope?

You might never find out what specifically caused it. It could have also just been a slightly pulled wire from factory that got worse with some pressure and water intrusion.
