Anyone ran into issues with Auto-up windows, maybe it's sensor is too sensitive and rolling back down when ~an inch from fully closing and it senses some resistance thinking something is in the way and it rolls right back down? I do have tint on the windows.

Yep on my passenger window. What window(s) are you having issues with?
I let my dealer know at my last maintenance and they advised all was within spec and they lubed the track and put the panel back on but said it appeared normal operation(?) and others on their lot replicated it. They noted it in the event of a recall/warranty claim in the future

Never had this issue, would piss me off though. Feels like shit that used to happen in the 90s.

Very possible tint has a lot to do with it. Mine are tinted too, Xpel Prime XR Plus.

This happens to me, was going to bring it up at the next oil change. Only happens on the passenger window too, kinda annoying but at least it’s not going rogue and happening on its own.

I noticed allot of debris fall in between the window jams on this car . There is larger gap than needed and this may be the cause of some of the issue .

Yes, this happens to me. When I have the passenger window cracked open for ventilation and then try to close it, the window will stop and then roll all the way down (open) and I can't halt it. Doesn't always happen but frequently enough to know that it wasn't an inadvertent button press on my part.

Seems to have happen to quite a few of us, mine is driver side window as well. I think it is more frequent when the vehicle is in motion, like the wind is pushing it back down.

Anyone else displeased that this $50k car only has 2/4 auto up windows? My 2010 Prius had all 4. I expected more from Acura. (I realize this is an entirely trivial complaint).
Wow I had the same car.

Get a q-tip and rub this generously inside the rubber of the window track.

It’s a “safety” thing. If the motor senses resistance when closing the window it will reopen as a precaution (ex. The window is closing on an arm or something). Grease is sold at Honda/Acura dealers but you can use any really. I’d avoid WD-40 as that is not meant for rubber, unless it’s the silicone version. When I bought my car it was having this issue and this solves it, the rubber tracks tend to dry out and creates resistance causing the window to reopen when auto closing.

I don't get how much money it could possibly save them to be cost cutting this much. Every trim Mazda 3 has one touch windows. There an entire discussion about it here.

No. I am pleased that this car weights just a hair over 3100 lbs in 2023 though.
