Sounds to me some people might benefit from a code reader. Had this one before upgrading to the Autel Ultra, but this works well with reading all codes in every module’s in the car. As a bonus, can put the rear brake pads in “maintenance mode” for pad changing.

If it’s a fuel filler flap issue you should be getting evap leak codes.

You're telling me this little $55.00 Autel thingy can put the car into brake service mode? that would be awesome if true. Please confirm.

i actually already have a code reader, one of the Innova ones. I updated it this morning and hooked it up to my car, and it was showing Code P0369 - CMP Sensor No Pulse, which is for the Camshaft Position Sensor. I was trying to reset the code and i ended up deleting all the DTCs like an idiot

Yes it can! Had it for my 10th gen. It’s extremely powerful honestly. Reads all the control modules on the Acura + can erase them. Does everything but bidirectional control and obviously programming/coding. You get 1 free lifetime automaker and you can get others on a 1yr subscription basis for a fee. I forgot what the fee is though.
If you like bidirectional control as well as everything else plus still maintaining the lifetime access there is also this one, but it is only good for Honda/acura’s only. Can’t access other automakers on this. I don’t have first-hand experience with it, but have heard great things from techs.

first timeitook to dealer it wasnt in error mode and they claimed they cant tell what error codes turned on previously. Is that even true? I found that hard to believe so i had to bring back while in error mode. They replaced the camshaft sensor but that didnt fix it.
ugh

Do they mean limp mode? If it’s an intermittent issue where the code popped up and then next key start was no longer an issue the code could have removed itself if it was a pending code

Just had this happen for the second time on my brand new one. Last week the dealership said the code was for the evap purge valve but claimed nothing was wrong so they cleared the codes and sent me on my way. Just popped up again tonight so I'll have to go back tomorrow.

Just got it back yesterday. According to them the intercooler outlet pipe and purge valve tube were not connected? We'll see if that was the actual fix.

My ITS has 2800 miles on it and got same warnings yesterday: Emissions problem and Rev Match. Dealer said it was a VTC actuator issue. A little anxious since everyone else is reporting issues with the fuel fill instead. Dealer has been nice, just dont like have to fix a new car.

This happened to my ITS a few days before New Year's too. I posted in the thread in the ITS section of the forums documenting this issue: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/cel-under-900-miles.51459/

No resolution yet for me. Dealership kept the car over the weekend because they haven't yet determined what's wrong. They're working with the Acura techline to see if they can figure something out.

Interesting that it's happening to Integras with both engine options available. I wonder what parts are shared between the two that may be causing these issues?

This is apparently happening to FL5 Civic Type R owners too.

If it helps, it seems like a VTC valve/solenoid assembly replacement of sorts resolved this issue for the OP of this thread: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/fl5-emission-and-rev-matching-system-problem-p0011.51214/

I shared this update in the ITS-specific thread, but for those who don't wander over there, here's the latest update I have in my particualr situation: My car threw code P0011 and Dealership has had my car for just over a week. The dealership indicated that the Acura techline rep confirmed that Acura is aware of the issue and they are actively working on a software update.

We'll see! I unfortunately won't get my car back until the fix is done though, which leaves me feeling a bit dissatisfied with Acura because they aren't being forthcoming with even an estimate on when that will be (so far). The dealership has been good through this at least.
