Agreed, if the rotors are warped in the rear you should feel slight vibrations while breaking through the seat on your bum. The worse the vibration, the worse the warp. Similarly, you would feel the fronts being warped through the steering wheel and mostly in the front end. That said, Hondas of all makes and models were notorious for warped rotors back in the day. I guess they finally solved the issue for the most part with better rotors as I’m not seeing as many posts on the web with the newer modelsI just ran across this thread, and I know it's dated. But I saw that it originally was regarding a surprise brake rotor replacement due to "warped" rotors. I'll offer a couple of comments. If you notice nothing in driving the car, and the tech says that the rotors are warped, ask him what the runout measurement was. If he gives you a deer-in-the-headlights stare, go somewhere else. If you notice something while braking, and if you haven't already, then do a good bedding by repeated hard braking, until you smell it. Brake pads transfer material to the rotor, and this can cause a vibration when braking. Sorry if this is repetitive information.
