Anyone else have a rattle in the steering wheel? I have rattles where OP had his, now in my steering wheel (I think the actual horn cover), the seat belt, and the drivers door all rattle too. I dont ever go on rough roads and I baby the car. Its really got some problems.
Did you fix "steering wheel" noise and was it a rattle or a ticking/clicking sound when turning either direction?

It actually mostly went away on its own but I would still occasionally hear it. It wasnt when I was turning but was caused by bumps in the road while going straight like on the highway.

My car was totaled in a flood last month at 6,000 miles so I wont have any more updates on it. The rattle in the passenger speaker area never went away.

Very bad that you lost your car.
I see. I just got my car yesterday and only drove it during the test drive and then back home. I did hear couple of sounds: the steering wheel ticking when turning(possibly a clock spring) and passenger side seat belt in the B-Pillar area.

Here is my story of car shopping:
I put down a deposit on Integra, then when it arrived, I noticed steering wheel being off center to the left. Service guys couldn't fix it even after an alignment. I forgot to mention to them the idea about "steering angle" sensor as this may needed a reset/calibration with a scan tool. Then sales guy asked me if there is another color I want to try, so I did 1 white and 2 grey. One model had rear door improperly adjusted and was sticking out and another rear door made a weird noise when closing. The service guy said he doesn't have any techs available so will need to schedule appointment next week. I decided not to buy this car as there is no guarantee if they can fix the issue. So I drove another color and still found some imperfection on one of the door and worked with sales to make the deal sweeter. So this ordeal took 3 days!

Wow. Acura must really be slacking on the quality control. When I got mine originally it had a big scratch on the start/stop button from the factory. I expected better from acura but it was still a great car for an amazing price. I also noticed that the paint on the front bumper chipped really easily.

I think this may be the culprit…
The silver mesh cover is a separate piece from the rest of the silver trim and I think their normal clip style connections cause vibration. I took mine apart and put some double sides tape in locations that looked like it would tighten up the tension between the two pieces. Too soon to tell if its stopped the rattle.
Need more driving, especially in colder weather.

I just figured out this is probably the source of my passenger side rattle, and I saw you posted the door panel removal video, but can't I just pop/pry off the silver trim piece and mesh cover without taking the rest of the door panel apart? Or will I end up breaking something?

There is no way to release the clips from the front side of the part. So you will have to take the door panel off.

Bummer! I figured that might be the case but wanted to make sure. Thanks for the info.

Has anyone noticed a rattle in the passenger’s area of the dashboard when the car’s cold? That’s only when it happened for me. I smacked it a couple times and it stopped, but it’s annoying that I have to do that every time I cold start the car.

At least on my car, the passenger rotary dial that closes/opens the vent gets slightly loose when cold and can rattle. Moving it a bit to the right or left makes it tight again. When you adjust it, you can feel that this dial is nice and tight, after sitting in the cold, when you just slightly tap it(without moving), you could feel as if it is looser than it was before.
When I first encountered the rattle, I opened glove box compartment and then upon closing, it made a noise, then I came up to the vent. If that is your issue, then try to find a perfect spot where it rarely or won't make anymore noise.

Last weekend I took the passenger door panel off looking for a rattle that went away when I pushed to the rear of the door handle area. I mostly noticed it on warm days while taking right-hand sweeping corners. I discovered that a "plastic weld" (white nub in the middle of the photo, above the green trim clip) that holds the upper trim piece to the panel had cracked, allowing the panel to flop around. I epoxied it back together and I haven't yet heard the rattle when I would have expected to. Another of MANY annoying rattles that I've been trying to get rid of.
