2023 Integra 6MT
Vehicle: 2023 Integra A spec 6mt

Total tuned time: 1.5 weeks

Tuned miles driven: ~150

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner v1.2

Tunes used: TSP Stage 1

Fuel used: 93 octane only

Additional related mods: Nothing done to engine

Problems/issues: Before tuning my valve cover was leaking it was fixed under warranty. After tuning I haven't ran into any issues so far.

Driving style: Pretty aggressive I just don't launch the car or floor it under 3000

Tuning experience notes: Very noticeable difference in how the car drives. I didn't expect the reduction in rev hang to make such a difference but its amazing.

Total tuned time: 1 week

Tuned miles driven: 100

Tuning device(s) used: Hondata Flashpro

Tunes used: Phearable DE5 Stage 2

Fuel used: 91 octane

Additional related mods: PRL HVI, PRL TIP, PRL Intercooler and Charge Pipes, Ballade Sports Race Downpipe, PRL Front Pipe, PRL RMM, Mishimoto Expansion Tank, Acuity Reverse Flow Hoses, and Wunderladen Oil Catch Can. Bunch of other suspension, trans, and brake parts.

Problems/issues: None, just waiting on Hondata's Flex Fuel Kit or Flex Fuel support.

Driving style: Typically driving conservative with my toddler in the car and still breaking the engine in for the moment.

Tuning experience notes: Hassle to send the ecu out to jailbreak, but should be on the top of everyone's list of mods.

Nice , so what differences do you feel before and after the tune ? I am eventually looking to do the same but with the 93 tune .

Makes the car better in every way. No rev hang makes shifts easier in daily driving and all out, car wakes up and accelerates like it should. Also, the multi tune select feature is really nice to switch between for different scenarios of power/traction. Highly recommended and think most people could be done modding for power with just this.

Thatā€™s what I am hoping to achieve , I donā€™t need a ton more power but just enough to wake it up a bit more & fix the rev hang but hoping they a jailbreak tour by me as I canā€™t have the downtime sending my ecu out .

Total tuned time: 4 months

Tuned miles driven: ~ 6.5k

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner v1.2

Tunes used: Phearable Stage 1.5

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: Nothing done to engine. PRL RMM

Problems/issues: last few wks when going close to or WOT in 5th or 6th its slipping significantly.

Driving style: somewhat aggressive I don't launch it hard but on the hwy I regularly need to get from 60mph to 80 asap to get around left lane sand baggers.

Tuning experience notes: a little stressful as I had never done it
before. Also was never able to get the TunerApp to sync up with the KTUNER.
I'm a bit annoyed that the stock clutch is slipping so soon as I thought most said it would be fine as long as I didn't run the 3rd/highest boost level which I never have.

Damn I just pulled the trigger on a v2 tuner with the 1.5R tune from phearable and I kinda wish I saw this update before I bought itšŸ˜…. Nevertheless, Iā€™m still excited and just mainly got the tuner to get rid of the ANNOYING amount of rev hang this vehicle has stock but also excited to have a better power-band than stock as most of these tunes claim to do that. I will try to keep this thread updated when I get my hands on it and test it out. Btw I have a 23ā€™ Aspec with the 6 speed and only running a PRL HVI and the thermal rnd front pipe back exhaust. Wish me luckšŸ¤ž
Would love you to be an official part of this thread. To do that, add your car in the format shown in the first post so you can be added to the tuning stats.

Total tuned time: 2 weeks

Tuned miles driven: ~ 500

Tuning device(s) used: Ktuner v2

Tunes used: Phearable Stage 1.5R

Fuel used: 93 octane

Additional related mods: PRL HVI, Thermal RND front-pipe back exhaust (yes ik this has no effect on performance Iā€™m not stupid but if I figured itā€™d still list itā˜ŗ)

Problems/issues: None

Driving style: Spiritedly; accelerate pretty often, I donā€™t baby the car. But I do like to cruise on the hwy and get me them mpgsšŸ˜Œ

Tuning experience notes: At first, super nervous to tune the car, with all the things Iā€™ve heard abt these L15 engines: not being very tunable, the head gasket slander, and ofc the clutch slippage, who wouldnā€™t be? But I pulled the trigger and my god is it amazing. I personally believe the car should have came this way stock, I mean on a surface level the car literally drives better. Because of the consistent powerband, even on map1 I still find myself being super satisfied with how much better the car drives. Most noticeable when ur accelerating from 3-4K the car likeā€¦ actually goes and keeps pulling till redline. Another awesome part of the tune is the revhang reduction; before the car did not like the be shifted at ANY rpm, low or high. It would jerk and feel very unnatural, but with the reduced rev-hang the 1-2 shifts are much smoother, aggressive acceleration doesnā€™t feel anywhere near as jerky as it used to, and the car now seems like it actually wants to be shifted. Now Iā€™m positive the reason the car behaves that way from the factory is due to the fact of it needing to be an efficient and emission friendly vehicle or whatever, but my god do I truly enjoy driving this car so much more now even after sacrificing 5 mpg. Iā€™ve owned my teggy since 7k miles and was starting to have 2nd thoughts because of just how borderline ā€œuncomfortableā€ it was to the drive the damn car. The revhang seemed to hold up the car a lot, the powerband only hit from 2-3.5k and 5.5k+, and also the revhang I felt was doing a lot more bad than good specifically with the clutch and wearing it out more by trying to be economical or whatever. Also I wanna add that map 2 and 3 are awesome, you can definitely feel the increased torque with the vehicle although I havenā€™t really experimented with them too much and have only really done pulls with them, and not like pulls on the highway (which is were people start to have issues) but map1 is already such an improvement over stock with the powerband and overall feel of the car that I barely even touch the other maps. Overall, I think everyone should definitely do this even if ur not really looking for power gains but just to simply have a better driving experience. Also props to Phearable for making such solid improvements over stock on the car and really fine tuning their productšŸ¤, I would recommend the 1.5R tune to anyone who has a teggy.

Also I want to make note of this, the only cons that I have noticed with the car being tuned so far is:
-In colder weather the tune does not hold the engine at a higher idle for very long like how it does stock and idles down to 800 rpms kinda quick which can be a bit annoying as I donā€™t have remote start.
- Fuel economy: From what Iā€™ve noticed overall the car does still seem capable of reaching 38mpg highway if u drive on map 1 in comfort mode and cruise, but if you drive even slightly aggressive, expect mid 20ā€™s as that faster spool time sucks up gas like crazy.

PS (if youā€™ve even read this faršŸ˜…)
-Donā€™t buy the V2 Ktuner, itā€™s kinda a complete waste of money for average driver and you rly donā€™t need the gauges and stuff that come with it (IMO). Save urself the $200-$300 and just get the 1.2v.
-The tune also lets you permanently disable auto start stop which I figured I would mention as I didnā€™t know that and that is pretty cewllllll

Iā€™ll try to keep my tuned experience as updated as I can and let you guys know how itā€™s going but for now, itā€™s been absolutely great.šŸ‘
