They give you a template with the factory one. It's pretty easy to follow and you just use an auto punch to set where you'll drill. If a dealer tech can do it, then any 9 year old with access to a punch and a basic drill can do it.i don't trust myself, or have the balls to drill through a metal trunk. The dealer could install it for you.
That’s good to hear. Mine just arrived last week. It fits perfectly.Just to update, Artwork is going to just do a replacement for me, and I'm going to ship back the original one. Just waiting for the new one to be ready. They had a Type S at their facility so they are trying to rework the mold or something.
I've had the artwork body shop v2 spoiler for 2 and a half months now. I've been really happy with it so far. Here are some photos with it on.
The color matched spoiler looks sexy as hell. I wonder if the color matched spoiler would look good for my ABP ITS.That’s good to hear. Mine just arrived last week. It fits perfectly.
I spy an mk7 gti back there! Finally got the replacement spoiler from Artwork body shop. It was a no charge replacement. At first, they were going to give me one for half price, saying that I could sell the one that I have, and make some money back, but after a little pushback, they decided to just replace it at no charge. They are having me ship back the original one. They provided a shipping label, etc. so no cost to me.
The new one fits perfectly.
Even though it took some time, because everything is billed to order, and they probably had a bunch of orders ahead of me, they did the right thing without too much grief. I will continue to shop with them.
Just wanted you guys to know that it was a good experience, even though it took some time.
Very glad to see they gave you a positive experience. Definitely considering a purchase just because of itFinally got the replacement spoiler from Artwork body shop. It was a no charge replacement. Glad they did right by you in the end but I think it's kind of bullshit that they would even try to charge you to begin with for something that was obviously poor worksmanship on their part. Finally got the replacement spoiler from Artwork body shop. I feel ya. I do still think they did right by you.I agree. They only tried once at least.
When I suggested I should return it, they agreed pretty quickly. They've also been very responsive to all my inquiries. Honestly pretty happy overall.
They didn't pop on the forum and bash the customer?I agree. They only tried once at least.
